At least the dumpling was decent, big in size and had a crunchy bite. The star of the dish was really the noodles with the special sauce. Not too sure that it is worth the $5 price tag.
The dumplings, I must admit is one of the best I have had with any Wanton Mee.
A resounding yes. Some may dispute if it is worthy of the long wait, but at least for me, the wanton noodles is a taste I am fond of.
I like their house made sambal chili sauce as it has a sharp hot sting and there was plenty of lard which gave the sauce a distinct lardy flavour and some sweetness.
In a nutshell, if you’re feeling nostalgic and want an old school bowl of prawn noodles, do check out No Name Prawn Mee!
When it comes to which prawn mee is the best in Singapore, I’m sure we’re all ready to “throw hands” at anyone who dares contend against our favourite. Nowadays, it’s not uncommon for a bowl of prawn mee to cost a hefty S$8 or more. The fault lies in the novelty of jumbo prawns — people don’t […]
The omelette was quite nice, soft and moist. There was some crispiness outside like tauhu telur, some greasiness, some egg fragrance, and some crab sweetness. Overall a satisfying sin bomb

Located in a small shop at ARC380, this stall sells delicious handmade noodles all made fresh and hand-pulled daily!
It seems that this place (380 Jalan Besar #01-09, 6935-3072) was opened by a former Eng's chef, which explains all of the similarities, in particular the potent chili sauce in the upper left corner.
This is arguably the best beef noodle that I have in Singapore so far. We are so lucky that this gem has been rediscovered!
It is good that Blanco Court Beef Noodles using traditional recipe is keeping the heritage Hainanese dish alive; and making it more accessible with stalls with comfortable seating in accessible locations.
The Prawn Noodles at Liang Seah Street Prawn Noodle are for those who are in need of a no-frills, gimmick-free, delectable bowl of Prawn Mee.
The noodle from kolo mee was a bit like instant noodle; dry, slightly on the heavy side with the tendency to stick together. Minced meat was palatable although not impressionable to warrant a higher price tag as compared to the wanton mee. Char siew was tasty and i know for a fact i could get the same char siew with wanton mee. It's not hard to know my stand on this battle between kolo and wanton mee!

If you have Muslim friends who haven’t had a chance to try Chinese la mian, bring them to Yi Zun Beef Noodle!
Famous stalll with monstrous queue even before opening – reached at 10, got my noodles at 11. These were simply old school wanton noodles, with springy noodles, but everything else quite average, including the papery char siew and plain wantons.
Notice the empty bowl of soup?! Usually bland tasting and not worth a trip down my throat, i found the one at Sin Song Kee to be highly palatable; to the extent i might just opt for fishball soup with no noodle if i decide to have a somewhat healthier meal.
