This is part 1 of 4 where in we visited the beautiful village of Putuo
This is the 3rd day of our trip to Johor Bahru. On this video we visited the beautiful Arulmigu Glass Temple in the morning
Said to be the most popular temple in the district of Muar at the Malaysian state of Johor, Nam Thien Temple (南亭寺) is a religious abode that appeared in the middle of nowhere.
The Buddhist section for the famous Nam Thien Temple at Muar wasn't damaged in the year 2020 fire that consumed the main Taoist structure and given that one is now older than the other; I thought it's better to dedicate a separate posting.
I bet the next time I visit the temple, it would have more addition of statues and the landscape could be even nicer than what I encountered in October 2022.
Our next destination was Si Hai Long Wang Temple 四海龙王大伯公庙, which worship a few deities as well. There are 月老 (God of Marriage), 城隍 Cheng Hwang (The City God) and 南海观音 Nan Hai Guan Yin (Goddess of Mercy).
