The moment I step into the room, there is a sense of familiarity. I’ve stayed in a similar room here but on the ground level and I would pull back the curtains for a view of the garden while I tap away on my laptop.
The reason we chose Sand & Sandals Desaru Beach Resort over other resorts is that it was cheaper, probably because it doesn’t have waterparks. We didn’t need that anyway, we just wanted to relax on a pool or beach, and in that aspect, Sand & Sandals delivered.
The Resort adopts an edgy but contemporary resort-style architecture, deploying the use of wooden features, white bricks, lush greeneries and natural sunlight.

Petangnya, kami layan mandi manda di kolam waterpark tapi untuk lazy river tak sempat nak layan sebab ianya di tutup jam 6 petang.

The Westin falls under the generic global chain and offers the usual experience – massive property, massive grounds, hundreds of rooms, big Seasonal Tastes buffet breakfasts, their Italian Prego restaurant and a clean beach with a beach bar.
As usual, KSL Mall is a must visit for the massages and earlier this year; I even booked a staycation at KSL Hotel and Resort!
So sampai KSL hotel, tanya juga masa di Lobby. Berapa harga semalam. Then katanya Rm150 semalam. Untuk Superior Room. Rasanya laaaa.. Cik mimi tak tau sangta jenis jenis bilik. Haha.. Then kami inform nak keluar esoknya pukul 6petang. Katanya tambahan Rm70. So total Rm220.
Our Superior Twin room is rather spacious and comes with a Queen size bed and a single bed. The interior is a bit dated but the cleanliness was overall satisfying.
Saya menempah bilik jenis Deluxe Sea View Corner Room di Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas dan tempahan dibuat terus dari laman sesawang rasmi kerana kebetulan harganya lebih murah berbanding laman Agoda dan Booking Dot Com. Tempahan dibuat bersama sarapan pagi. Setibanya di bilik, memang perkataan pertama yang muncul dibibir adalah wow! Bilik ini berkeluasan 50 sqm cukup mewah dengan menyuntik elemen klasik menerusi penggunaan perabot kayu. Katil bersaiz King dengan tersedia sofa bed dihadapan katil. Bilik air mempunyai tab mandi dan tersedia colok aromaterapi untuk anda yang mahu berendam sambil menenang jiwa.
The rooms in Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas are also child-friendly. We were very happy when we saw that they had a cot set up in the room and also had a baby bathtub prepared in the bathroom together with toiletries for the kids. Definitely a plus point in my books! Besides that, they also provided a kite and some batu seremban – another very Malaysian element – for some good ol’ family fun.

Kebersihan pantai juga terjaga. Tidak kotor dengan sampah sarap. Kalau korang jalan-jalan petang atau pagi ke di tepi pantai, memang nyaman sekali. Angin bertiup segar dan kalau nak piknik pun boleh.

在酒店的最低楼还有一个户外看电影的地方; 虽然在这样的地方看电影别有一番滋味, 但是蚊子也是特别多~
Hari kedua dimulakan dengan breakfast dan selepas itu kita pusing sekitar pulau besar untuk cari spot gambar yang best untuk instagram. Dekat Pulau Besar ni susah sikit untuk kita cari makan so oleh itu aku amik terus package makan lebih mudah. So far makanan yang disediakan kat resort ni memang sedap okey. Pada sebelah petang pulak kita start aktiviti snorkeling. Pakej snorkeling boleh ambil dekat hotel sahaja. Harga dalam Rm80 sahaja.
Other than cycling, Bayu Lestari Island Resort also offers jungle trekking and beach volleyball. Should you want to do some kayaking or snorkeling, you can either enquire at the reception or cycle to the nearest facility and enquire there.
The cost per person is RM430 (3D2N) which includes boat transfer, accommodation and full board meal. There are a few suites that you can choose from depending on how many people you're travelling with.
OH! I gotta say, of all the hotels I’ve ever visited, LEGOLAND Hotel Resort has BY FAR the best staff. They are so so so so amazing.
Overall saya kasi rating 9/10 untuk Legoland hotel ni. Sememangnya berbaloi untuk menginap disini dan lagi awesome kalau dapat rate bawah RM400-500... Pasal Covid19 ni aje Legoland bagi diskaun kaw-kaw, kalau tak jangan harap lah!
Overall, the journey to the Legoland Hotel is perfect where we really enjoyed till the fullest. AS for nearby attraction, one of course can visit Legoland which is just next to it . They also have a mall next to Legoland Hotel where there is a BIG Supermarket, eateries like KFC, I Love You YOO, Absolute Thai and many more.
I enjoy my stay here and it was a memorable Tioman Trip for me. The surrounding of Paya Beach Spa and Dive Resort is really nice and if you are someone like me who love taking photos, there are a lot of good vibes area here in Paya Beach Spa and Dive Resort where you can take Instagramable photos, you can probably even Threads about it.

Initially, when my friend told me we were going to stay there, I did not think much about the resort, but just grateful to have a decent place to stay and rest… But just as we arrived at the resort.. I fell in love… is a little hard to describe the Muo Resort… It is a unique stay experience you can rarely find anywhere else..
Tiara Desaru Seaview Residence is an up and coming seafront property located on the south east coast of Johor. Nestled on 10 acres of Desaru prime land, this property consists of 579 units of fully furnished apartments, most of which are open for sale to the public at an unbelievable value for money price. 150 units are however reserved for long term and short term rental.
Tiara Desaru Seaview Residence (TDSR); the first condominium in Desaru to provide hotel service to buyers and residents.TDSR units are not only meant for sales, but also 150 units are reserved as short term or daily rental for tourism as well as business travelers. Residents can just ring TDSR for cleaning service before they come over as various service such as housekeeping, F&B and laundry, are conveniently available at attractive prices. Even long term tenants can enjoy monthly or weekly cleaning service for their units too.
TDSR is surrounded with water. It has huge pools and also located by the seaside. I just think that 3D2N is not enough for me as I only have little time spending in this place after visiting all the places of interest I mentioned above. I don't even have time to stroll leisurely on its solid flat beach. According to the staff, there are baby crab and hermit crabs crawling over the unpolluted beach. How I wish I can prolong my stay to spot them.
I booked my stay at TAd Marine Resort located at Kampung Pasir Panjang. They have a 3D2N Fullboard Package that includes accommodation, meals, snorkeling trip and a waterfall jungle trekking trip. The beach at Kampung Pasir Panjang is silky white and soft. There were some minor renovation going on beside the reception building but it wasn't too disturbing. I stayed at one of the Standard Seaview Rooms - Teratai Room 73.
In sum, I had a great fun time here. Definitely, I will come again with my close friend for a revisit on this beautiful place. I will advise to those who wanna do snorkelling at Pulau Mentinggi, you advised to come and stay here as nearer to the site. But the gentle reminder is you need to check up sharp at 12pm for the boat arrangement sending you back to Tanjung Leman jetty. There is no other scheduled time for the boat to send you back unless you make a special arrangement with the resort with some charges.
At the resort, rooms include a balcony. Every room includes air conditioning and a flat-screen TV, Air conditioning, hair dryer, hot & cold shower, coffee & tea making facilities, Toiletries and certain units at TAd Marine Resort have a sea view. At the accommodation the rooms are fitted with a private bathroom with a shower. TAd Marine Resort offers 3-star accommodation in Pulau Tinggi. we can also enjoy complimentary wireless internet. The resort has 88 rooms that are fitted with all the necessities to ensure an enjoyable stay.
They were small but cosy and adorable. I loved the swimming pool there and the surroundings.. And how each of the mini chalets had their own privacy as well as water features with river fishes built around it…
We took up their family room located on the 6th floor as the other room on the 5th is occupied. Family room is priced at RM200 per night, plus a deposit (refundable upon check out) of RM50. If you need another key card, another deposit of RM50 (refundable) is required.
