Well fried, crispy, unoily and tasty – the qq and unsticky nian gao and the fragrant durian were seriously good. Nothing not to like about fried fritters done so well.

The most famous foods in this shop is the 3 in 1 fried glutinous rice cake. 3 in 1 fried glutinous cake means there is a layer of sweet potato, glutinous rice cake, taro and a thin layer of frying batter.

My usual order - crispy squid with Thai chilli sauce (other 'dressings' include salt pepper, seaweed, bonito fish and honey mustard). Fried only upon order, do enjoy them when they were piping hot! The batter was quite similar to those addictive Taiwanese-style deep fried street snacks and aside from the subtle crispiness, i was most in love with the sweet, tasty flavour of squid!
