Cerdito, a great place for porky fare and they serve pretty affordable lunch set too. Will definitely give another visit again!
Cerdito Restaurant is a good dining option if you are looking for a good porky feast in a bit more upscaled eatery among the foodie haunts of Puchong Jaya.
Ooohh..la..la... the meat was tender and juicy, even better than the one we had on our very first visit. The tomato sauce which is similar to the one served with the Patatas Bravas enhanced the riblicious experience. We regretted not going with our gut feeling of getting a full rack. Next time!
To be honest, I was not hungry at full capacity (surprise, surprise) and I myself may have been underwhelmed by the experience. But still, my brother and I ate with gusto as we always do.
Verdict: It was an enjoyable Spanish lunch, a very unexpected one indeed. The food definitely good enough to induce repeat visits.
A must to have here . Enjoy their delicious lagsana where the dish is made in house from their family recipe. It comes impressively delicious making it to our favorites.

Tiki Taka, located in the housing neighborhood of Medan Damansara, has been serving lots of scrumptious East meets West inspired tapas bites. Coupled with their full bar service, it is one of the better place to hang out in that area for good food and drinks. This round, the new menu is bolder and definitely better. Filled with lots of porky fare, there’s plenty of small bites as well as mains and a sweet ending. We visited once evening for a sneak peek and was pretty stoke about the luscious menu coupled with a few giggle juices.
Used to be new kid on the block and since then have gains many of regular over months and with some recommendations and request from their customer, Tiki Taka had just launch their New Menu and along with some of their Old signature menu is still on the menu.
The favourites are still there, Nutella Bacon, Pork Satay, Singapore Chilli Prawns, and yes of course Salted Egg Crab Bun, you’ll never be at risk of the new Pintxos, Tapas & Mains that has become their signature dish and now you will have a whole new selection of sublime taste sensations vying for your attention! Papa C said they have the best Connor’s as Tiki Taka has one of the best pour. It pours black with a thick, creamy beige head. Love the smoothness.
There are many other items on La Cocina’s menu that we have yet to try, but I’m looking forward to it the next time I’m in Taipan; especially the paellas. Service is friendly, and although prices are above average, they are competitive in comparison with some of the higher-end Spanish restaurants.
Overall, although a bit oily, else it was not bad.
La Cocina is a Spanish term for “The Kitchen” or “Art of Cooking”, under the Head-Chef/Managaing Direct Mr. Jeganathan; it has been serving Spanish Food at USJ Taipan for more than 10 years.
Reasons to visit Pisco Bar KL: besides having a great product – welcoming setting, tasty menu and value-for-money drinks – the extraordinary hospitality of the owners make Pisco Bar a must-visit. Gracious in their service, Nico and Yvonne, are respected names in the food and beverage industry and the reason many people return again and again.

It’s a marriage of Spanish hot bloodedness and the poised, chic ambience that we’ve come to expect in a good bar to celebrate and unwind. Recently, Pisco Bar has expanded and opened a stylish new space that offers the ideal layout for variety of events.
To be honest, the cocktails are good and the seafood paella with black rice is really tasty and I highly recommend this if you plan to visit Mercat Barcelona Gastrobar. We had a great family brunch at Mercat Barcelona Gastrobar Spanish Restaurant Mount Kiara and that is a great way to spend quality times together with good food and drinks.
Lacon Gallego de Cochinillo (RM 56) Get this delicious Galician style roast Spanish sucking pig leg with potato cachelo. With the look of it, it may not look appetizing but after the first bite you’ll surely in love with it.
Baby Lobster RM25 Absolutely fresh and succulent, the briny sweetness of the lobster meat was further enhanced with a subtle earthy olive paste and tangy tomato. So delish, this baby lobster is to die for!

Verdict: 1. Tapas Club is a great place for dine and wine by both the day and night. Highly recommended for special occasions, celebrations or private functions too. 2. Overall, Tapas Club has far exceeded our expectations in almost all aspects, be it the quality of food, ambiance or service. If I were to have any complaints at all, it would be the overall taste of food leaning towards the heavier (stronger) side. But no worries, pairing them with some boozes will help balance out the flavours. 3. Recommended: Garlic Prawn, Squid Ink Paella, Tapas Club Cheesecake
Suckling pig with spinach - MYR 27++ (MYR 31.32 nett). Juicy fatty fine meat with skin as crispy as a potato chip. The aioli dip, made from garlic and olive oil is smooth and garlicky.
Iberico Pork Skewers – RM25 A dish perfect for a Spanish party! I was really amazed at how tasty and juicy they were.
This is one of my longest reviews for a very long time, but it reflects how much I liked the food and drink, and how keen I am to go back. Mr Chew’s is perhaps the higher end place I’m most willing to spend quite a lot of money at, because I don’t want to wait to save it for a special occasion. Seriously, go here and enjoy yourself.
Reasons to visit Troika Sky Dining Mr Chew’s Chino Latino Bar’s new home: convenient location next to some of KL’s hottest bar and restaurant concepts; must order the nori taco, tiger prawn dumplings, fried Japanese rice and go wild with the cocktail menu.

在吉隆坡,如果想要嚐到正宗的西班牙料理,到 Bangsar South The Sphere 的 【Buena Brasa 】 就對了!
I don’t know what Cafe Deli by El Meson is trying to be. They have super casual pork noodles on their menu right next to RM450 steaks, but this place is way too trashy to justify that steak price. Nobody is going to order a steak that expensive in a mall restaurant where you’re sitting on plebeian rattan furniture next to an escalator. A couple of weeks after our visit, I brought up this place to Mark and he had completely forgotten that we had eaten here. The food was okay in the moment, but obviously unmemorable. We don’t intend to ever return to this scammy, self-important restaurant.
Reasons to visit Little Pig PJ: charming setting; excellent menu of contemporary Spanish tapas with some Asian twists; must order the Crispy Pork Belly Eel Bao, Roasted Cauliflower, Duroc Pork Belly Paella, and don’t miss the LP Mini Burger & Fries for dessert.
Crispy Pork Belly Eel Bao Impressive Juicy Bao! I love how this juicy bao is made where one can enjoy the awesomelicious bao which is packed with the creamy touch of pork belly and ell with it. The bread comes fluffy with the crispy-licious bun. Awesome and perfect!
By reading the description in the menu, it is definitely one of a must order item for me. Crispy Pork Belly Eel Bao @ RM 34 – 2 Homande bao with Spanish Duroc, Pork Belly, Dutch Eel, Pickled Cauliflower, Teriyaki Sauce, Egg Yolk gel. Not your usual bao that it use tecnical skils to craft on it. With the egg gel on the top and stacks of flavours is just pretty spot on!
Reasons to visit: exquisite cuisine prepared by a chef with meticulous attention detail; reasonably priced; don’t miss the Chilli Crab Tortellini, Baby Lamb and Pandan Pannacotta.

The sea bream is sourced from Pulau Ketam and is marinated and served with a bouillabaisse (a classic fish stew from France using shellfish, thus giving it a sea flavour. Coquo has a very relaxing ambiance, with a vintage couch & wine bar cellar that welcomes everyone upon entering, that is the perfect spot to catch up with friends over a bottle of wine or two. An open kitchen would be the main highlight, allowing patrons to watch the chef in action, and also to socialize with the Chef if you have any questions at all. Reasons to have brunch in Mont Kiara at Fat Olive Food Garage: rustic chic setting; a small but generously portioned brunch menu; paella; tapas – must try their new goat cheese walnut lollipops; start with Cava Sangria and continue with El Coto de Imaz Reserva, Tempranillo.
Reasons to visit Fat Olive Food Garage: The Mixed Tapas Platter is an experience all on its own and represents the character of the restaurant; The Iberico Pork Burger is the best burger I’ve eaten in KL (I’m going back to try the beef burger next); generous portions; great flavors; reasonable prices; agreeable indoor/ outdoor setting.
Gambas Al Ajillo (RM33), from the south of Spain is beautifully done here, with large, plump prawns cooked in olive oil, garlic and chili. That garlicky oil is so simple yet so good... I'd love more bread to soak it all up!
Reasons to visit El Toro Loco KL: a pleasant indoor/ outdoor setting in KL’s city centre; one of the few places in the city with a late night kitchen; authentic Spanish recipes; must try De Txaka and De Champiñon Iberico pinchos, Ceviche Agazpachado, Paella and be sure to save space for at least one of the desserts – chocolate lovers should go with the mousse but those curious about the subtle differences found in crème brulee around the world the Spanish version, Crema Catalana should definitely be given a taste.
The De Champinon Iberico (RM24) was one of the best things I ate here - grilled confit button mushroom sits atop lightly toasted German sourdough bread with a slice of the finest Jamon Iberico. Loved the presentation and how this small bite was bursting with big flavours. Simply phenomenal.
