首先推荐的是他们家的限量版料理! 除了这个限量版料理之外, 所有美食料理都是任吃的~
Unagi Don (RM 35) Have the bowl of don which is served with the roasted eel over a bowl of rice. I love their well roasted eel and it is such a perfect indulgence.
Teriyaki Chicken Burger, 23.80 ringgit. This burger tasted delicious. If you are a fan of “Teriyaki” , then do give this a try. rest assured that every mouth you take has teriyaki sauce in it. I loved it, the slightly spicy, sweetish flavor it provides certainly made the burger as a whole yummy. You would also get a decent chunk of boneless, crunchy grilled chicken + sweet daikon + onions + cheese + cabbage, with some fries on the side. I gobbled it all up, sure was yummy. Loved it.
My Personal Opinion What can I say except....bring your appetite.....they're going to feed you well here!
But for now without further ado, here presenting to you the finespun 20 Sushi Omakase Course by Sushi Hibiki 鮨ひびき this fall.
Sweet White Corn Premium corn that is only available during the seasonal Smmer- Autumn transition
Bara chirashi A lovely medley of assortment of oceanic goodness such as golden eye snapper, horse mackerel , Isaki, ainame (greenling )salmon , tuna, prawn , ikura, tamago, cucumber, ginger, marinated squash and many more!
Reasonably price and quite good, i especially like their chawan-mushi
One of the must-try dishes at Kin Gyu is the Sukiyaki hot pot (RM250). Sit back and watch as one of the staff cooks the sukiyaki tableside. For 2 - 3 person set, you will get two different cuts of Wagyu - the rib eye and chuck. The staff starts off by gently grilling the leeks and then adding some of the warishita sauce and then cooking the rib eye beef. You can choose from three different dipping sauces - whipped egg sauce, raw egg and dashi sauce - to which the beef will be added for you to enjoy. Then, the staff will meticulously arrange the other ingredients into the sukiyaki pot, such as vegetables, mushrooms, wheat gluten and kudzu starch noodles. There is also a pot of dashi stock, which you can add to the sukiyaki if you find it too sweet. For us, the taste was just right. Truly enjoyable.
Highly recommend the latter (Soy Milk & Cream Cheese Tofu RM15) – homemade cheese tofu using fresh soy milk, arrow root and cream cheese. So creamy, savour slowly for the melt-in-mouth sensation.
Wagyu Beef Soup Rice – RM100 Charcoal grilled Wagyu beef served on top of a bed of rice in a claypot. On the side, with Japanese soup stock of bonito flakes, dried sardine and mackerel flakes poured over. This is heavenly lip smacking. I was taught how to eat this Gyu Kabayaki Hitsumabushi – first we eat the original flavour without adding anything. Then, add in condiments for another taste. Lastly, add in the dashi to the rice. 3 ways of enjoying this rice!
Shin Roasted Salmon Nigiri (RM12) Roasted salmon sushi with 5 different toppings each. The salmons were thickly cut and were incredibly fresh. The sushi rice was lightly seasoned with vinegar so it didn't cover the great taste of the sashimi. Basically, every bite of it was a mouthful of satisfaction.
For lunch, the restaurant offers 10 lunch set specials from rm$28 to rm$35.
The aim of the restaurant was to served freshly and pure tasty sushi to costumers with beautiful illustrious to represented their love & understanding for Japanese cuisine.
The Salmon Teriyaki Don @ RM14.80 featuring grilled salmon with teriyaki sauce on rice is a favourite of mine (and at such a great price, you'll be forgiving even if the salmon turns up a little on the dry side)! ;D
We also had the Grilled Kurosoi, aka black rock fish which was just flown in from Japan the day before. The fish had a lovely sweet and firm flesh.
Ebi Tempura Set (RM 128). The set comes with a huge platter where you can have the awesome seasonal grilled fish and sashimi. The grilled fish is just superb with the flaky texture and fresh. The sashimi comes in 3 kinds and they are all air flown all the way from Japan. I love the cut of the sashimi. Fresh and huge cut. Every piece is so fresh and delicious. I don’t mind for more pieces of sashimi where they are superbly good and delicious. The set comes with a bowl of rice, warm miso soup and also a velvety chawanmushi.
To my dismay, the main items, the Bara Chirashi and Salmon Ikura were ridiculously small. I eat bara chirashi very often and this is by far the smallest one I've had (so little rice, and sparse topping!). The salmon in the Salmon Ikura were also very thinly sliced. I'm not sure if this is their regular lunch portion or if it's a drastically decreased portion due to their promo (compare it to the photo in their menu). What a letdown.
Recently, during my birthday celebration in Yuzu, Gardens, I spotted Ichiriki after our lunch which has an opening promotion for 2 items and the food are not that expensive at RM 25 above. So we went to Ichiriki last week.
One of the cheaper japanese restaurant in Gardens, dined there for few times My salmon sashimi set, only RM29
We ordered from the set lunch menu where there are 3 sections with dishes listed under each section. For MYR 33++, one can choose 2 dishes from section A where guests are not allowed to choose the same dish twice. For MYR 36++, one can choose 2 dishes from section B or (1 dish from section A and 1 dish from section B). For MYR 39++, one can choose 2 dishes from section C or (1 dish from section B and 1 dish from section C).
Overall, we enjoyed the food and space. We thought the chefs excelled in highlighting the natural flavours of the seasonal ingredients with a deft touch and acute sensibilities.
The “Hoshun experience” marries kaiseki and sushi courses in one menu. Your perspective will determine its success.
We were super excited to get up close with Red Hong Yi’s work at Hoshun Sushi Kaiseki. It was a lovely space. (Food experience in Pt. 2).
Surprised me that the Sushi perpared here are not the best but not bad at all.
Empire Sushi brought you a new and fun approach to enjoying the tasty Japanese sushi, it is a quick-service sushi kiosk with a trendy appeal that indulges sushi lovers who living in the fast lane with fusion Japanese sushi to a whole new level by presenting an astonishing array of freshly hand-crafted sushi with affordable price.

Sashimi is my favorite thing to eat in a Japanese restaurant and we were definitely wowed when the Sashimi Moriawase was served at our table. Beautifully plated, this was a feast for the eyes and belly as it featured fresh, thick slices of raw fish such as salmon, maguro, kampachi, tako, botan edi and katsuo bonito. So so good!
This sushi joint is now my preferred choice of cheap conveyor-belt sushi in my housing area which I can rely on for weekday dinners when I'm not in the mood to cook. Since coming to Sakura Sushi, I've stopped visiting the other cheap conveyor-belt sushi in my neighbourhood, Sushi Mentai, altogether and that's because Sakura's sushi and a la carte items taste better, not because they offer cheaper sushi. The owner is very friendly....and he always makes me feel welcome. I sincerely hope that he will maintain his standards and not cut corners now that the business is flourishing (and doing better than Sushi Mentai). Just one parting note...the taste equates the price we pay....and, if you remember that, you should do alright here! ^_*
Overall, it was a SUPERB lunch for us. Their Sushi and service was excellent.
Sushi Mew has truly woven a medley of flavours into every dish, making each piece of sushi into edible art.
The price is RM38 per person for the Original option and RM28 per person for the Vegetarian option. Rice and seaweed can be refilled at RM8 per serving whilst the 14 additional toppings range between RM5 to RM30 per serving.
The ‘Make Your Own Sushi’ platter can be ordered based on a single portion. However, the portion may be added up to as many as ten in a big platter for sharing. The price for each person is RM38.00 for the Original option while it is RM28.00 per person for the Vegetarian option.
I had the Shake don set which came with around 9 slices of salmon sashimi, topped on top of vinegared rice. The sashimi was fresh and a pretty good thickness for don. Chawanmushi was also nice and smooth.
