The famous Shiok Maki and Pitan Tofu were great, and the Bacon Enoki called out to me but was less remarkable.
My last visit to Koh Grill & Sushi Bar was almost five years ago and I remember I waited quite a while in the queue before my family finally...
Koh Grill & Sushi Bar needs no introduction especially for Japanese food fans in Singapore.
Last but certainly not least, indulge in the Superstar Roll, a true crowd-pleaser that combines tradition with innovation. Mentaiko sauce negitoro meets crispy mozzarella cheese in this unique sushi roll, topped with seasoned tempura flakes and Tanuki Raw's special oko sauce. What sets this roll apart is the unexpected crunch from the tempura flakes, elevating the sushi experience to new heights.
As you can see, I chose the Foie Gras Truffle Yakiniku ($21.90)! I also ordered a set which comes with a drink, miso soup and salad. The beef is drizzled with truffle soy sauce and the foie gras is glazed with black garlic brown butter.
The chirashi don today was not great. i guess all depends on the freshness & cut on the day, but if it is inconsistent, means the retsurant not that great!
Overall, I enjoyed my meal here at Kyoaji Dining very much once again - ambience was still subtly elegant and cosy as I remembered, and service crew so hospitable and friendly.
Loved the prior dining experience from 3 years back at Kyoaji Dining, and this visit lived up to our expectations. From the zen minimalist ambience, the attentive and efficient service, and fresh delicious Japanese food which is well-executed and reasonably priced, Kyoaji Dining continues to quietly impress across all categories.
Kyoaji Dining is almost an institution these days, with regulars visiting frequently for their exquisitely crafted and still delicious Japanese dishes, which are now more affordably priced.

Overall, we can understand the popularity of the Sushi Bar Taka. Prices are not the lowest in town, but the quality of the food was higher than average.
With the rebranding, Ayumu has brought its focus back to traditional Edo style sushi.
Sushi Ayumu is a fine Japanese dining journey. It is by no means cheap, but it gets you the Japanese experience without flying to Japan.
Sushi Ayumu receives their hon-maguro and uni from the same venerated supplier as Michelin-starred sushi-yas Sushi Saito and Sushi Sawada.
