Antea Social is a contemporary teahouse that encourages you to slow down, relax and embrace the present as you sip on teas from the Orient.
We are already planning our next visit. Antea Social will be my go-to teahouse to escape from the world outside, aptly named indeed.
Make sure you take a whiff of the tea before you drink it as the aroma was simply wonderful!

Two problems for me though; one, it can get quite warm. And two, there were flies; the service staff did try to improve situation by lighting a candle and placing it on our table. p.s. you can buy the candle from their retail store.
The Taro Cha Cha, Taro Kacang, and Taro Balls will be available across all of Milksha’s outlets.
Milksha uses 100% natural fresh milk and other natural ingredients such as sugar from sugar cane for their products, with no preservatives, chemical ingredients or artificial colourings.
Customers can try out the self-service kiosk and enjoy their favourite bubble teas. Alternatively, they also order their drinks over at the counter.

The black tea with panna cotta was a nice drink dessert combi, with fragrant tea and creamy and slurpy panna cotta.
The drinks were quite delicious, and I especially enjoyed the cheese foam tea.
They are well-known for their Cream Cheese Foam drinks and also earned the honourable title of “God of Cheese Tea”.
On the whole, I had a pleasant meal here – the food was good and the cafe had a nice quirky charm.
I didn't realize until we got here that the name of this place is a function of it being an antique store in addition to a cafe (19 Lorong Kilat #01-06, 6463-3648).
The baked goods were good, including the cornbread underneath their Eggs Benedict as well as the flaky croissant-like things underneath those crab cakes above.
While cafes are plenty, teahouses are rare in Singapore, unlike the strong tea culture in other Asian cities like Taipei or Kyoto. Tea Chapter remains one of the few options locally, and is one with some impressive history to it. With more care, this is definitely a place to return.

If you are fans of HeyTea’s signature cheezo teas, fruity and bobo beverages, you will be pleased to know that you can get the usual drink menu as the HeyTea Ion Orchard store.
Its well-thought-out opening hours fits perfectly with the Singapore drinking culture, especially when it is located in Clarke Quay.
Don’t expect to get smashed here. Instead, look forward to well-balanced tea cocktails that are refreshing and unique.
The Whale Tea has always been slightly ahead of the curve, as compared to most bubble tea chains.
The Earl Grey Lavender Black Tea Latte with Sea Salt Foam had a nice lavender flavour accompanying an earl grey fragrance and smooth milkiness. The sea salt foam was also nicely salty, rich and dense. Good stuff. One shop away from McDonald’s.
As one of the only locally-owned bubble tea shops that sell handmade pearls, Tea Dough is youthful and brings a lot of zest to a market that’s often characterised as oversaturated and overhyped.
Oleh Oleh Cafe in Parkway Parade is a good spot for snacks anytime of the day and for takeaway as well. We like the various reasonably priced Malay kuehs we can find there.
For sure my curiosity was satisfied and it is unfortunate these picks were not outstanding for me.
CHICHA San Chen will be taking over the former unit of Yuan Cha, next to Bali Thai on level two of NEX. The new outlet at NEX is expected to open in Feb 2021.

Artea VivoCity is another new attractive cafe in VivoCity mall that we had been curious to try but was unable to as it was usually crowded.

Exciting news for North-siders in Singapore: Xing Fu Tang will be opening its third outlet at Compass One mall this September, adding on to the other two at Takashimaya Shopping Centre and Century Square at Tampines.
