Bangkok House has managed to capture the essence of Thai cuisine , which is known for its extreme flavours from tongue scorching spiciness to simple yet decadently sweet desserts . Born in Bangkok and of Malaysian-Thai descent , Sarah Hassan works behind the scenes as head chef while sister Farah Hassan is the public relations manager . “These recipes come from Bangkok so we’re working together to serve authentic Thai cuisine with a family-oriented dining experience,” said Farah .

Overall, it was a super good lunch for us. Both of us loved it. Thank God!! We made the right choice to drop by Bangkok House for lunch. Excellent service by the manager. She even lends me her charger when I told her that my phone is running out of battery. Besides that, she is also very good in giving recommendation. Thanks young lady!! We really appreciate your kindness. Second Visit? A big yes for me.

Pad Kra Pao was superb. It is served on a bed of rice with fried-egg on the top. They have different types of spicy level and I choose to have spicy and they nailed it. If you can’t take spicy, then lower heat level which you believe will be acceptable to you. Pad Kra Pao @ RM 18

Pad Thai, yum yum! Modern twist to the traditional Phad Thai by using Angel hair pasta, and it’s so good that my sister loved it. Phad Thai @ RM 14.15

The Poke, 20 ringgit. Man, this dish was delicious! This is apparently a Hawaiian inspired dish which comes with lemongrass fried chicken , egg, several vegetables and K2’s special peanut sauce. At first glance, every item on the plate seem separated, only to be connected by their special sauce blend but upon mixing it all up, it sure did blend well. Every mouthful was yummy and i would totally order this dish again. …. and did I mention that this dish is only 20 ringgit, which also includes free flow of lemongrass drink and prawn crackers? Worth every penny.
