Our all time favorite is the claypot mutton curry.
The basic Banana Leaf Rice Meal comes with three vegetables, Pudina Chutney, Mango Pickles, Pickled Chilli and free flow of curries. I would say that the spread was good and the veggies were fresh and tasty. My rating for their veggies shall be 8/10
Stirfried glass noodles at MYR 11.90 nett. The portion is larger than the fried rice portion and taste good as it is a bit spicy and tangy.
My order: Ten grain Lo Mai Fan at MYR 6.90 nett and fresh sour sop drink at MYR 7.90 nett. I find the Lo Mai Fan easy to eat because it is very soft. This ten grain Lo Mai Fan is also sold at the Frozen section of the grocery part of this shop.
The Sizzling Sambal Vegetarian Fish was another delicious dish. If you are a fan of those Asam Pedas fish dishes, like I do, then you’d like this tooo – minus the fish, of course, lol. Here, they use soy as a substitute for fish, it taste the same except the soy is a lot less fishy and more chewy. The sambal was yummy, as I said earlier- it tasted like your typical assam pedas gravy and it made a good gravy to eat with the brown rice.
Ooooo man, this was delicious! Da bomb!! I would not mind having this dish again and again. It was wholesome – yummy and filling. The dish is made up of long grain spiced rice + a large portion of cottage cheese / paneer in buttery gravy + bindi / ladies finger + long beans. Both vegetables came with its flavorful dry gravy. It was an absolute delight indulging in this. Sooo good.
Hyderabad Dum Briyani at MYR 20 nett. The portion is big enough for 2 regular eaters. The yogurt dip is sourish so it is refreshing. It is only slightly spicy unless you bite on a peppercorn or dried chili.
So people of Damansara Uptown (and neighboring areas), vegetarians/vegans or otherwise, come try (tasty) clean eating. Prices are very friendly (portions generous!) and best of all, you can expect warm and congenial service.
I call this the vegetarian wat tan hor because the hor fun or kway teow has the sought-after wok-hei. I wanted to order the basil mee hoon stir fry but the elderly waiter recommend this bittergourd kway teow to me at MYR 14.90+ (5% service charge = MYR 15.65 nett). Although there is a lot of black bean gravy which makes this dish very flavourful, it was not very salty so I could still enjoy eating it. I guess the flavourful black bean gravy is to please the general public who thinks that vegetarian food is not flavourful. As usual I kept half for dinner.
This time I ordered the set lunch at MYR 16.60 nett with a bowl of not sweet red bean dessert soup at MYR 4 nett. I chose the lotus roots with chickpeas and omelette with herb dishes. The stirfry mixed vege and pickled papaya are the two default dishes in this set. My friend gave me her pickled papaya dish too so I had two portions in the photo above. As usual I kept half of the rice and some dishes for dinner but not the red bean soup.
My lunch order: Red Yeast Mee Sua at MYR 15.55 nett and Pumpkin sweet corn sweet potatoes dessert at MYR 4 nett. The Red Yeast Mee Sua has lots of vege and mushrooms in it. It is so tasty that I ended up drinking all the broth. The pumpkin dessert is not sweet at all and the staff informed us that we can request for it to be sweeter which we feel is not necessary.

So we were back at 10 Boulevard to eat at Chef Low Organic Kitchen but it was closed so we walked around and decided to try this eatery named "Wellness Recipe".
Personally, I don’t believe in plant based diet so becoming vegetarian is out of the question. I do however, believe in eating clean and cutting off as much processed food and sugar from my diet. So if we think alike, then you should check out Wellness Recipe.
