The Three Peacocks (‘TTP’) are known to be a place to go for a great outdoor BBQ experience. They offer an extensive range of meat and seafood for BBQ and they are packed every day.
The Three Peacocks buffet review
The Three Peacocks at Labrador Park offers just that, and a ton of good food at the same time! You can expect to be greeted by Thai night market vibes as you step into the brightly lit open space with fairy lights hanging all over.
Fancy dining in a hilltop garden 100 m above sea level, overlooking panoramic views and surrounded by lush greenery? One Faber Group’s Arbora Hilltop Garden ...
Arbora Hilltop Garden & Bistro, atop Mount Faber, is a dining concept close to the skies where you can enjoy a family meal or even a picnic. It is also loca
This family-friendly restaurant perched on Faber Peak offers a view that not many restaurants can match. Here you have expansive views of Sentosa and beyond, offering greeny and panoramic sea views that would surely delight both young and old in the family. At 100m above sea levels, kids would enjoy spotting cable cars, vessels at harbourfront and play guess what is the Sentosa Landmark.
My love for food should be obvious from the massive amount of postings in this blog but many of you would be aware I am more a hawker centre...
A food blog from a Singapore-based traveler
The pork jowl slow cooked retained its firmness but was melt-in-your-mouth.
Tiong Bahru Bakery gives you even more reason to cheer this April with a 1-for-1 deal when you take away their Pain Au Chocolat ($3.50), or chocolate croissant, on Easter Sunday, 21 April 2019.
A favourite of mine, the Chocolate Almond Croissant ($4) was fluffy and crispy and layered and rich.
I don’t mind going back for a quiet brunch (for their croissant), but definitely not the weekends. Happy to know that they are opened on Monday – perfect!
thoughtfully-crafted creations with quality and upcycled ingredients, alongside brunch classics to cater to diners' discerning palates.
One can be adventurous, but we as diners will ultimately want every possible canon of legitimate taste — which can be found in the featured dishes, All so good.
So yes, i'd come back to strangers' reunion for the savoury brunch options. there are a number of items i have my eye on, and i'll love to come back to get my hands on those.
The dining ambience at Ocean is one of a kind in Singapore. It is easy to be distracted by the aquarium and forget all about the food, but I do think it is a step in the right direction for the restaurant as compared to before. Head here for a modern-European meal and if you love a unique dining experience, this is one not to miss in Singapore. Overall, the service is attentive and professional by fine-dining standards.
Ocean Restaurant is a destination dining restaurant. While the novelty will wear off after the first visit, it still remains one of the most unique dining destinations in Singapore and definitely one spot to impress your date, or best saved for that celebratory occasion.
Overall dining experience at Ocean Restaurant was pleasant enough - be there for the beautiful tranquil underwater views; service and food have room for improvement, especially when per dining experience would set you back easily by S$600, minimally.
Of course if you're looking for a nice romantic spot for a dinner date, I highly recommend Dusk Restaurant and Bar.
As for the food conceptualised by Executive Chef Kenny Yeo and team, there is a wide range from Main Courses with a touch of Asian, European Tapas, Sharing Platters, Snacks, and Desserts.
Guriru Pop Up Even Review by Chubby Botak Koala, Guriru Tsukune Teriyaki Sauce, Seafood Chijimi, High Rollers Gimbab, Pork Bulgogi Gimbap, Tsubugai
Although many bbq items are glazed similarly (with homemade yakitori sauce), there is a wide variety to choose from. Not all the dishes are fantastic but the good ones outweigh the bad. And the food goes well with beer. Poolside, naked lightbulbs, bbq food and beer – it feels like a holiday. Sounds like a place I would come with friends or colleagues after work.

Moxie Restaurant review with pictures of menu with prices, SGH Medical Alumni building restaurant interior, pasta, sandwich, dessert, coffee
This is quite an ideal restaurant for group meals as the menu is designed for sharing. I appreciate that it is modern mediterranean so you will still find some familiar dishes on the menu even if you are not that familiar with mediterranean food per se.
I will revisit this Mediterranean restaurant again. The cuisine is excellent, with more hits than misses. The restaurant’s spacious layout also makes it a great communal spot, perfect for large group gatherings. Make sure to check it out soon!
It’s a perfect place to catch up with old pals and relax after a long day.
Blue Lotus Mediterranean Kitchen + Bar is the latest brainchild of Chef Helios Goncalves from Boca (we could've guessed from his signatures that seem all too familiar!). Unlike the other Blue Lotus outlets, this focuses more on Mediterranean cuisine.
Blue Lotus Mediterranean Kitchen + Bar was exceeded above my expectation. NAHMJ highly recommend to all.
I always go for the Tau Sar Pau – not cheap, but somehow extra fluffy, not too sweet, and goes well with a Cold Brew.
You can almost always count on 40 Hands to deliver a good cup of coffee, as this is what they pride themselves on. The latte art was very well done for my cup of Flat White. However, note that the coffee here is more for those who prefer it acidic.
I will definitely come back again really love the ambience of this cafe nice, cosy, comfy.
With a salad buffet bar that’s complimentary with any main dish ordered, Earle Swensen’s is a place to head to for quality food with family or friends.
Overall, a pleasant lunch at the Queen and Mangosteen. The food was more varied that what we would expect from a typical pub.
I've finally figured out the right things to order at Qin Ji: the liangpi, along with this.
And yes, I got a bowl of liangpi to go with it. They included some crunchy soybeans in there for some added texture, and it was rather garlic-heavy too. I'd be interested in coming back to try their other soups and roujiamo fillings.

The peppery notes of the arugula cut through the gamey aftertaste of the Smoked Duck Breast Salad, and the livery foie gras that was more paste than mousse. Pine nuts and croutons lent crunch.
A must-try dishes here are the Pork Jowl, Chilli Crab Rillette, LA Galbi Beef and Sticky Date Pudding.
The prices of the food at Garang Grill are affordable and worth the money considering the portions given and quality of ingredients used.
However, this Garang Grill unfortunately felt and tasted like a poorer sibling of the original. Perhaps also some tweaking of the menu is needed, to attract diners in the vicinity.
Prices here are also reasonable, I find, with most of the menu priced under $20.
Kream & Kensho is a lovely addition to the cafe scene in Singapore, and I for one hope they stick around.
Good coffee at Kream & Kensho and I do like the cafe vibes here. It is worth checking out if you are a cafe lover.
All were good from food to environment, perhaps a little shortcoming might be the lights in the restaurant which was quite dim, not an ideal environment for taking pictures.
If you’re interested in having a full course dinner for a special occasion, hit them up for an unforgettable experience!
If you are spoilt for choice (which I’m sure you will be), go for their sets which have great value.
Marble Bistro is certainly an interesting place to check out for casual lunches with friends within Outram Park that is worth trying at least once to see what they can offer.
Overall dining experience at Loui's NY Pizza Parlour was pretty decent - reasonably priced, given that we were inside USS itself.
