I enjoyed my meal at Skai where the seafood and meat dishes are impressive. I like the Japanese elements in most of the dishes I had, and suffice to say the execution of the dishes are good. The impressive city view is still quite unbeatable in Singapore, and this is still very much the ideal venue for a romantic date night.
This is a great space to impress your date, or to entertain your foreign friends.
Situated at one of the highest points on the 70th floor for your afternoon tea indulgence, the elegant space at SKAI serves as the perfect respite with sweeping city views and seamless service.
The new JAAN by Kirk Westaway restaurant made us think that new restaurants are like new cars. The current model looks perfectly fine until the new model comes along. Then it suddenly looks dated and bland.
Jaan impresses me with its understated elegance, be it the dining ambience or the conceptualisation of its menu.
Throw in the excellent service, elegant ambience and spectacular view and dining at JAAN Restaurant is sure to be a top notch experience. All you need is good company to make it a truly exceptional and memorable one.
A quiet table by the window at this nice cafe in Singapore is probably a good way to pass away the time while waiting for the rain to clear.
Yes. The Stamford Brasserie does what most new cafes and bistros failed to do, dishing out comforting wholesome snacks and mains.
The xiao long baos in the “XLB Tasting Platter” ($20) were very good. We ordered a second basket.
Although Janice Wong might have won the title of Pastry Chef of the Year from the World Gourmet Summit Awards in 2011, 2013 and 2015, the savoury food has equal potential to go as far as her sweet treats. As the restaurant was very new when I visited it, I will update again when I pay another visit to the restaurant.
Going to Janice Wong Singapore is perhaps like entering a food-meets-art gallery. Some pieces will draw you immediately, some you may walk past, while there are those which will leave a deep impression. And we should be proud.
I would return for the fried curry chicken and perhaps that meesiam linguine! Else the museum is always a place to revisit to check out the exhibits or the architecture itself.
Overall, we thought the food at Naughty Nuri’s Singapore (Capitol Piazza) was good and the special menu items were good value for money.
Perhaps the grilled corn was a little boring. The satay looked nothing like the meaty looking ones on the menu because the actual ones were kinda tiny. But definitely a good enough experience to come back. Now I'm curious about how the original one in Ubud is like.
To be fair, the ribs at Nuri’s were good, and the price is attractive enough for groups to come try, but there are many barbecue restaurants around which serve more-than-decent ribs too.
Kenboru offers premium proteins and ingredients that are super tasty!
Even though they’ve yet to release all of their dishes, the current items on Kenboru’s menu are already tasty, wholesome, and healthy for your wallet.
