vEvery dish was executed with so much care and detail that we couldn’t single one out as they were all outstanding and shone in their own right. They also serve excellent beef and lamb, and prices are kept affordable. A small, but tight menu, obviously crafted with passion.
Momofuku-inspired bun, but smoked duck version! Soft fluffy steamed bun sandwiching the hoisin glazed smoked duck, so yum! Plus point, Rm 12 for 2, quite a steal!
[Pork-free] Loo Loo Casual Dining offers delicious fine food without the hefty price tag. We especially love the Beef and Prawn Pasta.

Australian Braised Beef Brisket RM43 (160G), Pumpkin Mousseline, Sauteed French Bean. This brisket needs to be cooked long and slow about six hours to reach its flavour potential until it’s deliciously tender and infused with incredible flavour. Serve brisket with Pumpkin Mousseline andSauteed French Bean.
Beef Wellington Tenderloin with mushroom ragout in golden crispy puff pastry served with garlic butter fresh mixed veggies, roasted sweet potato and au jus. Succulent 200g tenderloin served medium rare doneness with flavourful mushroom ragout and saporous au jus, delightfully wrapped within a light and fluffy puff pastry (love ‘em much!).
NAKED House Pizza RM 45 Loved the crispy crusted pastry that was filled generously with mozzarella cheese before being baked till golden brown. Eat it piping hot, warm to bite, with a perfectly crisp exterior and just the right amount of sauce and toppings.
One of their must have is Carnivore (RM 55). The Carnivore is the latest addition to the menu where they are topped with the beef peperoni, roasted Cajun Chicken, Chicken Ham, Minced Lamb, Beef Bacon, Mushrooms, garlic and herbs. The pizza comes simply aromatic and the meat comes simply moist and juicy.
Porky fans – you cannot go wrong with the Crispy Pork Knuckle (RM92). Well-marinated, meaty and skin crunchy with every bite, we particularly enjoyed the chewy tendon parts.
Thumbs up to the Nasi Goreng Kampung Muar With Ayam Goreng Berempah. The Johor's version of Nasi Goreng was a bomb, not oily but full of Wok-Hei. I can taste the various kind of spices and salty ikan bilis (anchovies) coating each grain of the rice. Quite a filling dish that comes with ayam goreng berempah, fried egg, fish crackers and housemade sambal on the side.
We start off our dinner with an order of the famed Mee Rebus Johor (RM12). Served with a thick gravy with condiments on the side such as the fried keropok, bean sprout, beef meat, eggs and Taufu Goreng is a real treat.
Mee Rebus Johor to start, one of the best sellers you shouldn’t leave without trying. Yellow noodles, dressed in a bed of thick, creamy gravy in sweet and subtle spicy concoction. Halved hard boiled eggs, bean sprouts, tauhu, meat slices, crushed crackers, fried shallots complete the topping, generously.
This is a real hidden gem in Plaza Damas – they recently moved here from Plaza Damansara. We spotted some Persian/Mediterranean items on the menu.
If you wanna meat up this holiday season, Butcher Carey would be your best bet. No pretenses, no frills, just plain damn good steak! In the hands of Yusof Dayan Iskandar Carey, you know it’ll be cooked in the pink of its prime.
The top notch quality meat and other produces certainly contemplate returning.
