Opened in 1951, Wah Kee Big Prawn Noodles has been serving their prawn noodles, which includes XXL prawns, to loyal customers for 70 years.
The noodles were a bit of a bore too, despite the greens and generous amount of crackling in there.
Wah Kee is one of the few that offers a decent rendition of dry prawn noodles with mee kia.
Definitely one of the top ones, though I believe there are better ones out there in terms of overall experience.
Coming back to Wah Kee Big Prawn Noodles 華記大蝦麵, do come and try this delicious Singapore food icon when you are in the area. Many food canons declared Wah Kee as Singapore's best prawn noodles.
Will I eat again? Maybe once in a while, I will go for the $10 prawn noodles. But $20 prawn noodles, that’s too extravagant!
