这家店是很多人喜欢来喝咖啡,吃个西式早餐
Can't recall the name of this dish, but it's shakshuka. I would recommend this dish to anyone who loves a hearty breakfast. With the warm and toasty eggs and savoury tomato sauce and other ingredients cooked into what seemed like a thick broth, this dish is sure to fill your tummy despite its deceivingly small portion. Use the bread to soak up the awesome eggs and tomato concoction so you don't leave any behind.
Overall, i find the food and drinks and yummy, kind of wish the portion is tad bigger though
Food was good and acceptable. Will likely return to try something else.
Finally paid a visit to the much raved about latest café which has gotten much approval from friends around with its sumptuous serving of culinary treats- Yellow Brick Road!
The Millionaire Cake @ RM13 came as a recommendation from the helpful staff. Even though I did not try all the cakes here, it’s not hard to see why this is the best seller. The layers are moist, soft and the cream between them gives a tart refreshing flavor to balance the sweetness from the chocolate, while the light and delicate almond crumble melts in your mouth.
Having fallen in love with its ambience and décor, I was hoping to fall in love with the food as well. For any café who want to lay a claim to being one of the best brunch places in town, you've got to start off with a great big breakfast on your menu....and they didn't disappoint!
The price of several menu item is slightly higher than Red Beanbag(well, depending on which items). The restaurant have heavy crowd due to its rating and its previous achievement gained by the Head Barista, the food presentation and taste are constantly consistent, so if you ever wanted to try YBR, make a reservation or be there early!
Even the restaurant's tunes prove uplifting, fuelled soaringly & surprisingly by the '70s, with The Jackson 5's 'I Want You Back' seguing into ABBA's 'Mamma Mia,' followed shrewdly by Elton John's buoyant 'Philadelphia Freedom' instead of the brooding 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road'
