Malaysia Unique Flavour Fine Dining - Asia Reinterpretation @ Copper Bar & Restaurant, Armenian Street

While traditional Claypot Prawns is served with curry broth, Copper Bar & Restaurant had it served with their very own curry laksa broth, which offers a slight more acidity and citrus flavour. Prawns are fresh, and it was complemented well with the laksa broth.

The Copper Bar & Restaurant, 88 Armenian – How Well Do You Know Your Local Food?

Australian Short Ribs, 15 hours braised short ribs, roselle glaze, cashew nuts crumb. aubergine puree with buak keluak, roselle beef jus.
For this dish, Australian Beef is used but the rest of the ingredients and sauce are Asian style. I love the tenderness of the beef as it has been braised for long hours until soft and juicy.

Copper Bar & Restaurant @ Armenian Street, Georgetown, Penang.

We love how the Chef paid close attention to detail; for Cured Salmon, it featured two pieces of English Muffin topped with different toppings- stir fried Spinach and poached Egg with Hollandaise sauce. The Spinach and Shimeiji Mushrooms were expertly cooked and seasoned... crunchy with a burst of juice; the poached Egg was perfect either... with savory Smoked Salmon and creamy Hollandaise sauce. But the catch was the English Muffin, they have somehow did it correctly, the combination was beyond amazing.
