This makes it an ideal place for those early bird who would like to grab some breakfast.

Garlic Shrimp Pasta
Mellowcup Coffee
Here's the location.
Looking for a place to chill while having a good meal? Kraffmen Cafe is definitely the place to be.
The food is also quite reasonable and has a good mix of pizza, burrito, pasta, big breakfast etc. The only downside is the carpark beside charges RM8 per entry for the night.
The Charcoal Four Cheese Margherita Pizza, with thin crispy charcoal crust and generous lashings of pizza sauce, cheeses (mozzarella, cheddar, provolone, feta cheese), tomato, sweet basil and extra virgin olive is memorably tasty.
ツ [EN|中] Wheeler's Coffee used to be a bicycle-themed cafe which located at Love Lane.
This is a real tourist spot since we saw so many tourist
Hello there! I get so annoyed about what to say in the opening, you know the opening speech is the most important part to attract readers to continue reading ...
The wave of boutique café has not only swept over the metropolitan of KL, but has also invaded into the radars of urbanites residing in the Pearl of Orient. China House (which most of the time, I tend to accidentally enunciate it as White House-US, lol), is one of the several brands that has sprung up lately, occupying a three-linked compound, at the heritage-rich locale of Beach Street.
Personally, i feel that the food here is just average.
Spaghetti Aglio E Olio [RM18] The classic, but the hardest to master. They've got the right amount of everything(fried garlic, dried chili and olive oil). This is one good olio!
That slight hiccough aside, on to the dishes we sampled. We started with an excellent salad (simply titled Cinque) on the menu which combined lettuce, rocket, prosciutto and slithers of parmesan with a superb dressing.
The bean and barley soup, even though it’s simple peasant food, was honestly better than our main dish. The rosti is supposed to be definitively Swiss and I was disappointed by it. The prices are expensive for what is lacklustre food. I would, however, consider coming here for authentic German beer.
This is the Edelweiss Cafe which you probably will neglected it if you are not passing by here by foot. Overall, I do find this is quite a good restaurant to dine in especially for their cheese fondue but their price slightly higher than the local Penang could accept.
we stumbled upon this quaint little cafe while we were exploring around Penang heritage trail. what intrigued me was the outlook of this cafe. and as i looked ...
The main highlight is obviously Roasted Turkey, which is served with sweet potatoes, chestnuts, vegetables, cranberry sauce and giblet gravy.
You may enjoy their theme buffet, the Grill, Rotisserie & Seafood Medley every Thursday and Friday (lunch 12pm - 3pm; dinner 6.30pm - 9.45pm) or Japanese and Seafood Galore themed Buffet every Saturday and Sunday (lunch 12pm - 3pm; dinner 6.30pm - 9.45pm). The weekend themed buffet lunch is priced at RM 72 nett (adult), RM 36 nett (child) and RM 51 nett (senior citizen) while buffet dinner is priced at RM 122 nett (adult), RM 61 nett (child) and RM 85 nett (senior citizen).
I highly recommend Durian Crème Brûlée too.
The Bacon and Egg Bagel is a beautiful art to look at, with the runny egg yolks surrounded by stripes of bacon, just like the flower petal opened up to unveil its stems. Saltiness from the bacon yields as a natural seasoning for the egg, making a perfect combination that will definitely tantalize your taste buds.
Apart from bagels, they also provide their handmade yogurt with toppings that you hardly find outside the cafe, we have walnuts and raisins. Our choice of yogurt did not come with honey/gula Melaka that can complements the tartness of the yogurt, it's quite sour every bites we had, that's why we must eat the yogurt together with walnuts or raisins to neutralize it.
We were worried when the first dish was a little off that we might have come to the wrong place. However, the subsequent food was decent to good, and I’m still wondering how I can recreate the Malaysian pizza. I’d be happy to go back, even with the rich variety of dining options in Penang.
The Ultimate Tomahawk Platter seems a must. It came with everything in great proportions – 1.8kg tomahawk steak, rack of lamb, chicken souvlaki, and seabass in lemon basil butter, besides grilled king prawns, and creamy garlic scallops. The steak done just right with its natural juices was heartily enjoyed with the accompanying hummus, tzatziki, potatoes, corn, housemade pita, truffle mushroom cappuccino, sauces, and mix salad.
If Lamb is your thing, the 24 Hour Lamb Shank is quite a charm. the Lamb Shank is meticulously cooked to fork tender, the brown sauce packs a flavorful punch and with the creamy mashed Potatoes; the dish is both a palate-pleaser and a tummy-filler. Meat-free option would include the Cauliflower Steaks, a popular but uncommon vegan dish in Penang. Paprika-seasoned roasted Cauliflower Steaks served with Quinoa and home-made Olive-Tomato condiments. The Cauliflower Steaks have the juicy crunch while the condiments provide a savory but refreshing dimension to the dish. We recommend ending the meal with their classic but delicious Cocktails.
It is worth coming back DCOVA for the second time ..
DCOVA is located in Logan Heritage row at Bishop Street, a heavily business populated area. House in an old building DCOVA has been around for a few years, discreetly serving coffee, pasta and desserts to plenty of locals. Word of mouth gets out and many continues to flock there to hang out at the quaint ambiance of the bistro.
This place, no doubt is the perfect spot for sipping coffee and people watching on a Sunday afternoon, or any afternoon actually. Or morning, or evening, or night. Okay I'll stop here.
Okay, so I had a much nicer time at Junk Cafe this time around. I would consider returning the next time I’m in Penang, maybe even trying their food, but only if the patio is free. I dislike the vibe inside – in such a sunny place like George Town, why sit in a dank room? The prices are also too expensive to be a regular drinking spot, so for me, it would have to be a “once per trip” sort of place.
Enjoyed a good late afternoon here at Junk Cafe.
Meanwhile, Full of Junk burger comes with a juicy and succulent beef patty and served along lettuce, tomato, sauteed mushrooms, caramelized onions and tasty cheese. We thought the patty saltiness level could be tuned down for a more enjoyable eating experience, as every components of the burger worked decently except for the over seasoned patty.
Well, we choose Kim Haus Spaghetti Aglio Olio Chicken (RM 22.90) and it did not disappoint. Spaghetti noodles were cooked to al-dente and was seasoned nicely with a hint of spiciness, then garnished with olives. We were surprised to see generous quantity of big chicken cutlets were served. It was great but the entire presentation or experience would have been better if the chickens were cut into smaller slices. Overall it was a great spaghetti.
Kim Haus is a boutique hotel at Campbell Street (Lebuh Campbell).
Kim Haus evokes memories of its glory days through a gold museum.
Everyone loved the Thai boat noodle made by Hygge! 😍all of the people who tried it, demanded it to be on Hygge menu. And so it came to their recent delivery and takeaway menu.
The serving of Semi Fine Dining at Hygge Dining & Bar is a combination and mixture of dining from all around the world. Infact the pricing for the Chef Tasting Menu is very affordable with the new tapas menu to be available.
The bowl of Hygge Signature Laksa isn’t your average curry noodles. This dish priced at RM28 is served with huge prawns, chicken, fish cake, beancurd sheet, and hard-boiled egg in a creamy fragrant spicy broth sweetened with seafood along with spices. Paired with garnishing of fresh coriander, spring onions, red chili, and droplets of lemon juice, it was so yummy.
We were amazed by the quality of the 1/2 Roasted Moroccan Chicken... grilled to perfection and the skin was brushed with Balsamic reduction, slightly sweet but with a bitter end (due to the singed skin). The meat was fork-tender and perfectly good on its own but even better to enjoy with Sea Salt or a tangy Thai Green Chili dip.
おまかせ Omakase or "留给我吧" means "Leave it to the Chef"! There are no menu for the Omakase, the Chef presents to you what he/she has prepared for the meal course.
The star on the menu is Chili Soft Shell Crab which is served with Thai “Kerabu” salad, an appetizing crispy snack that’ll leave you wanting for more
Gravity is a place to chill and relax that offers not only selection of nice treats but also a scenery view that leaves one in amazement.
Guests will be delighted with the Smirnoff Vodka Tube, a riot of colour tubes which is blended with cranberry, orange, blue curacao mix with 7-Up and lime. Definitely Insta-worthy and share-worthy, with a set of 12 tubes at RM55. These light-hearted additions to the drinks menu are definitely a highlight for a bunch of people.
