We ordered their fresh prawns which served with the generous portion and they are complete with the seafood sweetness with it.
Dian Huo Xin Wo is one of my favorite place to dine when it comes to steamboat. Located at Kelana Jaya, DHXW serves the hotpot dishes filled with love.

The char siew bao deserves a mention. The skin is of the chewier type, and slightly off-white. Those who prefer the old fashioned baos would enjoy this, while those who are used to the fluffier, blinding white version like those in hotels may not approve of this as much.
The first time we came to Dian Huo Xin Wo, it was still operating at their old location in SS4. I remember I was hooked on their crustacean roe soup which led me to rank them as one of my favorite steamboat restaurants in PJ. A few months later, they shifted to SS6. We dropped by for dinner recently but unfortunately, we found that not only the price had gone up, the quality had declined as well.
BEST part of the steamboat? Of course their homemade meatball and the Herbal soup. I will definitely order them again in my next visit <3 Slice meat is a little pricy, but really fresh :)
Ambiance: 6/10 Price: 6.5/10 Food: 6.5/10 (non-halal) Verdict: Try the crustacean roe soup while you’re there. And the handmade meatballs are quite good too!
Verdict: The price range is a bit hefty but I know I’m paying for the freshest and finest food.
