I suppose if there were less of the sugar (gula melaka) and more of the pandan flavor and sago; it would have been perfect a perfect dessert for my taste.

One thing I did like about Hatinie is that it organises different kinds of food items at specific sections of the restaurant.

Sapa2 yang berminat dengan masakan pantai timur, saya rekomen tempat ni sebab pelbagai pilihan yang ada. First time saya sampai disini...susah nye nak jumpa padahal tak jauh dari Concorde Hotel. Hari tu kita orang pilih lauk kerutuk ayam, gulai kawah, limpa, ikan percik, ayam percik pastu pengat pisang, bubur kacang, bubur jagung, pulut dan bubur durian. Nak ikutkan hati, banyak lagi nak ambik sebab macam2 lauk. Aduiii mengah lepas tu nak drive!

Nasi dagang At Hatinie, one can get typical Kelantanese and malay goodies for breakfast. At 7am, the nasi dagang and nasi kerabu were freshly prepared and presented in food warmers. The various essential elements of the two dishes were available, from rich ikan tongkol curry to ulam (raw vegetables) and kerisik (grated coconut). The rice was steaming hot and fluffy…. literally a sight for sore eyes. Out of the corner of my eye, I spied laksam being prepared at another serving table, all very tempting fare.

But my fave would be the pengat pisang.. Banana cooked in santan and gula melaka, this is ultra sweet, hence, do take it in moderation. It's divine taking warm mouthfuls of it, and i love the silky smooth nangka slices in the pengat (which is not so common in pengat pisang)...
