Cheesy Baked Rice With Mushrooms. My only gripe with this is the lack of meat. They do provide you with quite a lot of veggie and cheese to make up for it. Certainly a notch above Kim Gary's cheese baked rice.
Today's dinner choice was "江南海鲜面 Cantonese Seafood Noodle" which comes with clam, steamed fish and squids and lots of vegetables, nice but not fantastic!
The restaurant offers both vegetarian as well as meat/fish option in their menu, generally a little bit healthier option than the normal "Dai Chao".
The food is quite affordable, with mine costing RM15.00 and the fish was about RM16.50, and that fruit stuffed tea pot was for RM10.
The tastes were was not out of the world or complex but its subtly nice and guilt free and that's a feeling no money could buy.
Verdict: Though they claim to serve food with low salt, no white sugar, no white flour, less oil, and no MSG, I find their food a little on the salty side and do contain pretty heavy seasoning ( Hubby, me and another friend felt thirsty after heading back home that night). Prices are reasonable, considering the environment of the restaurant, but we didn't feel satiated after the meal.
Taiwan Style Fruit Tea Really Strong taste and yummy, no matter how small cup are they using! Passion Fruit smell all over the tea, then slowly the rest of the fruits like apple & lemon smell also brewing out. Really got the kick! until we going back the fruit taste still remains even we refill for 5x plus. This is must try ya, other than their signature Lemongrass drink.
Price-wise, it is quite expensive to dine here but once in awhile, when your inner health freak beckons. I would go for their mushroom rice next time though.
