Sous vide-cooked spring chicken RM65 -succulent and locked with moist. A dish that children and adults alike will love. Dressed in cepe mushroom reduction sauce, comes with a side of preserved red cabbage. Garlic potato puree is a little too creamy to us, but if you love real buttery, melt-in-the-mouth food, this could be your favourite.

Nasi Goreng, 12.50 ringgit. Okay, you guys have got to agree with me that there is something special about Indonesian styled fried rice as oppose to our local fried rice. Maybe it is the oil they use? or some spices? I do not know what but whatever they use is enough to make it distinct. This was one plate of deliciousness. Soooo good! For 12.50 ringgit, you would get a plate of delicious fried rice + pork + egg + fish crackers. I just died and went to food heaven. No joke. Every mouthful was as delightful as the first. That is all I’ve got to say.

Established in 1921, Coliseum is now 98 years old! A real example of Colonial heritage of early 1900s. Walking into the restaurant and bar is truly like walking back to the history of Colonial days of Malaya.

This place is no stranger to most of the locals - they serve Western and also Asian food, with mostly Hainanese selections.Well, everyone said it's not as good as it used to be. Sadly, the quality can never be reversed back to the good old days. It's more like a place for you to reminisce childhood memories.

Chicken Thali Set, 20 ringgit I must say, for 20 ringgit, this Thali set was a good value for money. You’d literally get to taste 9 different items + vadai + “Puli”/yellow rice + papadum. It certainly did come with a variety, more selections from the usual Thali sets served at many restaurants here.

We started our meal with the highly recommended house special Lamb Ribs (RM39), which comes with 3 pieces of New Zealand ribs cooked in tomato masala gravy. The lamb ribs itself was flavourful and fall-off-bone tender, while the gravy was unbelievably thick

I opted for the giant garoupa, crowned with squid ink tuile in a light green broth of nasturtium, parsley chlorophyll and bonito. The deep-sea fish is beautifully cooked and shine on the plate with opaque flesh and natural flavors, while its skin gave a crispy crunch. The fish is served together with truffle mousse, and a side of beautiful looking coral made of pickled radish and salmon roe. The combination of all the ingredients had the taste buds experiencing soft, warm flavors with lingering finishes.

In conclusion I’ve had stronger expectations from the dishes we tried. It was definitely a decent meal, but Enfin by James Won is occupying the sort of space that bolsters expectations of a exceptional experience and that was missing from lunch. The 3-Course Degustation Lunch Menu is priced at RM128 per person, excluding beverage and taxes. À la carte prices range from RM18 – RM138. Lastly there is an optional glass of wine and Champagne pairing for an additional RM89. The food was at most - average, at least it was for me, knowing that they can definitely do better. Having said that, the experience was not really about the food, but more of having dinner, in the air. As such, I wouldn't place such high expectations on the food served.

Nasi Lemak with Fried Chicken and Sotong Sambal (RM11) Two of the better side dish here are the Sambal Sotong and Fried chicken. The fried chicken had a wonderful smell, moist and tender on the inside. The Sambal Sotong on the other hand is cooked to the right tenderness. The sotong sizes were quite big and the sambal here was quite spicy. Nasi Lemak Wanjo don’t skimp out on the portion of Sotong and the sizes of each sotong was quite big compared to other nasi lemak eateries.
