Overall, I think the ramen offering is simple with only a couple of choices but they did a great job nailing the flavours perfectly. Everything from the broth, toppings and noodles was on point and can definitely satisfy my ramen cravings anytime

It is easy to be distracted by the aquarium and forget all about the food, but I do think it is a step in the right direction for the restaurant as compared to before. Head here for a modern-European meal and if you love a unique dining experience, this is one not to miss in Singapore. Overall, the service is attentive and professional by fine-dining standards.
Ocean Restaurant is a destination dining restaurant. While the novelty will wear off after the first visit, it still remains one of the most unique dining destinations in Singapore and definitely one spot to impress your date, or best saved for that celebratory occasion.
Overall dining experience at Ocean Restaurant was pleasant enough - be there for the beautiful tranquil underwater views; service and food have room for improvement, especially when per dining experience would set you back easily by S$600, minimally.
We love the food at this Revamped Food Republic VivoCity and we are sure most would too.

There was a children's party going on while we were there and they even had a pasta making session which pretty much sums up the atmosphere here at Jamie's Italian at VivoCity, a lively yet laid-back place with pretty good food.
Jamie’s Italian is definitely one for friends or family. The dishes here are hearty, generously portioned, and good for sharing. Prices are relatively high considering it’s a casual restaurant, but the fresh ingredients they use make most of their dishes worth the money.
This is great for sharing as it might be a tad heavy if you’re having it all on your own, besides, there are more that you need to save your stomach for!

Well, the food was better than I was expecting, with things like pasta that wasn't overcooked, as well as those fried mushrooms above that stayed crisp and airy without being over-battered (yes, in case you were wondering, that was basically laziji but with mushrooms in place of chicken).
I finally got around to trying the laziji from Qiu Jin Xiao Chao. It was spicier, saltier, and greasier than I was expecting, and in a good way.
Here's the shuizhuniu from Qiu Jin Xiao Chao. It wasn't the spicy, greasy, salty mixture that I was expecting, but was instead more like a smooth beef soup that I still enjoyed.
OK, I come here a lot. After all, it's cheap, fast, and good. And it is generally healthy, if you don't end up shoveling down multiple bowls of rice with that spicy oil and instead opt for some veggies.
