Reasons to visit Out of Nowhere Penang: a fun spot to find and drag your friends through the orange fridge; casual, friendly setting; some fun cocktails attractively garnished making great Insta-shots but also refreshing drinking; good use of local ingredients giving distinctive local appeal; no plastic straws #taknakplastick; my favourite was Thorn to be Wild and hubby’s top pick, Cool Release.

Quite an intriguing entrance. Yes! You didn't see it wrong! It's fridge!! You enter Out of Nowhere through a fridge of an ice cream shop! Actually, besides the fridge, there's another door which is less fascinating. So, don't worry about being trapped in a room with only 1 entrance.

This are the 2 drinks we tried, Planter Mix comes with Gin, lemon Balm Vermouth, Osmanthus, Corombola and Pandan Tonic. Quite an intersting drink that gives you nice balance but with the edition of chocolate or even the tomato on the toothpick, it did not enhance the drink or added flavour with it. Personally felt that without is better. Another drink which is : Ayurvedic Remedy : Bourbon Whisky, Hartaki Infusion, Lapsang Souchong Maraschino Reduction and Mandarin Bitters. Both drinks are at RM 38
