With Peruvian ceviches at the core, the menu maps out the rest neatly into Tapas, Rice & Pasta, Fish & Seafood, and Meat.
In all, this is a fabulous find. The dishes themselves are conversation worthy and the big-hearted hospitality will make you want to return.
The novelty of Peruvian food was a draw to us initially, and we were glad we tried TONO Cevicheria.
TONO Cevicheria is also Asia’s first-ever Peruvian Cevicheria opened by Peruvian Chef Daniel Chavez, co-owner and chef of OLA Cocina del Mar.
The restaurant is the brainchild of Peruvian Chef Daniel Chavez, co-owner and chef of OLA Cocina del Mar at MBFC. The kitchen at Tono Cevicheria is headed by Executive Chef Mario Malvaez with a dynamic team of Lima-trained Latin American chefs.
With the finest Peruvian cuisine, quality Pisco and cocktails, there's possibly one and only one rule that you must comply in this free-spirited, boisterous place--dance to the salsa music.
TONO Cevicheria is Singapore’s first authentic Cevicheria owned by culinary heavyweight Chef Daniel Chavez who also helms the kitchen at OLA Cocina del Mar and have worked under the tutelage of the late great Chef Santi Santamaria.
This is the sort of restaurant Tono is: playful and fun without compromising on the quality and taste of the food. It is an education from the start to the end. The dishes are balanced and delightful and delicioso.
