If you thought Singapore's hotpot scene has already frothed to an absolute feverish zenith given a considerable passel of incumbent players along the likes of Hai Di Lao, Shi Li Fang etc entrenched on our shores, think again. Famed dining chain Coucou (湊湊, est. 2016), which boasts nearly 200 branches throughout Beijing, Shanghai as well as Hong Kong, steamrolled into town late last year, having erected culinary bastions within three major shopping malls (Suntec City, Jewel Changi Airport, i12 Katong) thus far and appears ravenous for more.
Yenly Yours is Thailand's No. 1 Mango Dessert Cafe with over 15 outlets in Bangkok currently. There are only 2 outlets in Singapore with the first in Suntec City Mall and the second outlet located in Ang Mo Kio Hub. I chanced by the corner one day while I was strolling in the mall and after the first try, it left me with a good impression of their dessert.
Overall, it was a nice afternoon tea inspired by selections of honey. The presentation of the sweets pastries this round is just awesome, like you are getting mini coconut, avocado, lemon and lychee on your plate. A must-try afternoon tea. Cheers!!
This year mooncake boxes are fashioned from satin fabric to resemble the reflection of a glimmering full moon. It is also embellished with motifs of fabled birds and flowers to symbolise optimism, serenity, and health.
Finally, I can strike off COCA from my list. Comparing the hot pot restaurants available in Singapore, there are better ones out there.
