Funan used to be associated with computers and IT accessories but today Funan Mall has become a dining destination. Though shoppers still head to Funan Mall for gaming machines, headphones and drones, most people go to the mall between North Bridge Road and Hill Street because it has an interesting range of restaurants, cafes and eateries for different tastes and budgets.
When I first saw this place (107 North Bridge Road #01-11, 6360-3371), I was a little concerned. After all, one of the best things about Hototogisu is how creative it can be with its broth, so mazesoba seemed like an out-of-character stretch.

There is a spicy option available for that bowl above, but that one isn't it. It's just the non-spicy version of LeNu's tomato broth.
The martabak was essentially a more qq, chewy and thick peanut pancake; the Original Choco-Cheese Martabak had a nice sweetness and good bounciness and chewiness. The Bakso Meatball Soup was a bit salty, although the beef balls were quite flavourful, qq and enjoyable.
Service was friendly and the food was pretty decent. A point to note for those who are sitting near the stone wall is to be careful in case there is abrasion as the surface was uneven.
