We also recommend checking out their regular cold brew offerings. We enjoyed the So Black Cold Brew for similar fruity and berry-like sweetness, and the Superstrong White for something strong and vibrant.
If you are ever in the Ara Damansara area, do drop by and tapau their coffee (and food). We really enjoy their seasonal blends, which they offer in addition to the regular blend.
A little coffee shop tucked in the quiet neighborhood of Ara Damansara, Petaling Jaya. Today, underscore coffee is still serving some of the best coffee in the area. Additionally, they are always experimenting with food and drinks, bringing more surprises to their customers. Go celebrate their one-year anniversary by trying their Geisha coffee before it runs out. My recommendation would be their Classic White cold brew. Visit them if you are in the area.
However, the eye-opener for us was the Truffle Oil Baked Eggs (RM19). Their homemade marinara sauce was so appetizing and combined so well with the fragrant truffle oil. The baked eggs dish contains chicken sausage and comes with two pieces of sourdough bread. The marinara sauce was so good that we also ate it with rice.
9.50 ringgit may seem a lil too costly for a croissant but trust me, it is worth every penny. It was utterly delicious. The croissant itself was fluffy, crispy and buttery. The salted egg yolk filling was generous, as soon as you cut into it, it oozes out. On the top of the croissant, there was a good dose of chicken floss. I’d never imagine having salted egg yolk with chicken floss but it was an awesome combination, It was sooo good that it did cross my mind to get myself another one but spending almost 20 ringgit for 2 croissants was a lil too much in my books. I shall be contented with the one I had. Definitely gonna have another one during my next visit.
Overall, Underscore Coffee is somewhere I’ll revisit for quiet afternoons and me-time.
