WOKE Ramen has opened in Changi Airport Terminal 1. The noodles are stir-fried in seasoned woks to achieve a smoke-kissed wok hei!
The name of this place (80 Airport Boulevard #03-19) isn't trying to make a political statement, but instead is referring to the wok hei flavor in the broth.

From what I could tell, this was just a generic fish soup stall at the food court in the basement of Changi Terminal 3. But they had a big sign talking about their "aromatic dried chili: a perfect blend with noodle" in their signature dry noodle bowl, so I gave in, especially since it sounded a bit like a Malaysian pan mee. It's too bad then that the chili wasn't very spicy nor aromatic. You'da thunk I'd have learned my lesson by now.

Super delighted to find that a cafe has opened in the far East! Cafes have been sprouting all over Singapore, but precious few in the far Eastern side of Singapore, ie Bedok, Simei, Tampines and Pasir Ris. Here’s a short list though.
They do really rich, lavish bubble teas you can order as an accompaniment to your sandwiches. Their Black Dot Boba Teas come thick with a scoop of ice cream blended in and in a range of flavours, from Black Sugar, to Red Velvet to Brulee Cheesecake.
