I’m not sure if we’ll return to O’Coffee Club. The dishes are hit-and-miss, and the menu is a little dull. There are only a couple of dishes I’d like to try. The burger we ordered was tasty, but I don’t know in what situation where I would choose this burger over the ones from Crust. It’s hard to find a decent burger in Mont Kiara, so I’m keeping this place on my list. O’Coffee Club is a passable option that’s a good deal since it’s a larger portion and includes a drink.

With its considerable portions, affordable prices, and tasty food, I think Kodawari Menya is a great place for a casual dining experience. I certainly think the drive here is worth it to get my udon fix once in awhile!

To be honest, the cocktails are good and the seafood paella with black rice is really tasty and I highly recommend this if you plan to visit Mercat Barcelona Gastrobar. We had a great family brunch at Mercat Barcelona Gastrobar Spanish Restaurant Mount Kiara and that is a great way to spend quality times together with good food and drinks.

Verdict: Portion was slightly smaller than usual and the exclusion of Ajitama as default toppings for Ramen is rather unacceptable for me. Taste wise, the Ramen at Ken Shin-Ryu definitely scored up to my expectation, if I had to comment, it would be the Tonkotsu broth which was kind of too thick for me.

Generally, there’s good ramen to be had here. I’ve conceded there’s no ‘best bowl of ramen’ as it all depends on personal preference. Some may like a more full-bodied broth, or perhaps lighter, different kind of noodles or other details. If I’m in the vicinity, this is where I’ll go for a bowl of ramen to savour the great quality, well-made textured noodles.

Reasons to visit La Tasca Del Mercat: a pleasant spot for breakfast in Mont Kiara; Rich loves the Cubanito and Catalan Breakfast, my top pick is the Shakshuka and hubby loved the Eggs Benedict; pick up your favourite items from the deli before you go.

Kimchi Fried Rice (RM 15) The kim chi fried rice is such a nice one. I am in love with their kim chi fried rice where they are fragrantly fried with some kick of spiciness in it. The rice comes awesomely good and they are perfect to share as well as portion comes pretty generous.

This restaurant has only been open for a year and a half, but this place has quickly gained popularity. It boasted a consistently full house during our visit. The food is very good but also great value, evidenced by all the single men that came in to eat alone on a Friday night. How very Japan!
