Old school Hainanese pork chop, crispy and with a sweet and piquant sauce. The chicken pie also tasted really old school, with starchy and mushroomy fillings. The beef hor fun was quite flat though in terms of flavour and wok hei. Nice little old school coffee house.
I think that Prince Coffee House is a hidden gem that we might have walked past many times without stopping to give another look because of its old school looks and slightly faded signboards.
In my opinion, I feel Prince Coffee House serves decent, homely food that fills you up pretty well at a affordable price in the town area.
On the whole, the pork chop with the Hainanese sauce is the only saving grace of my entire meal but I will not let that stop me from coming back to try the other dishes on the menu.
