Osteria BBR by Alain Ducasse welcomes the springtime bloom with refreshed menu featuring season’s first produce prepared in traditional Italian cooking accentuated with modern elements.
Not the full fledge Sunday brunch buffets like other hotels, Osteria BBR by Alain Ducasse focuses on Italian dishes and the most entry level ‘Brunch Roma‘ (S$168++ per person) comes with unlimited wines and cocktails. Head here if you are in for a drinking Sunday for the most value, and if you fancy, go for the champagne packages.
The brunch selections are amazingly good. My favourites include the Scrambled egg with sea urchin and caviar, freshly made pasta and pizza.
All in all, I stand by my first review of the restaurant before it rebranded. Why bother to rebrand when the food and service remain the same? The food isn’t bad per se, but it reminds me that there are better versions of similar dishes in other restaurants, making me miss the other restaurants. I won’t be fooled the third time, Alain.

This is an elegant modern Italian restaurant and definitely an iconic one for Raffles Hotel Singapore. It is ideal for date nights or special occasions, with its charming dining ambience from the high ceiling and heritage property setting.
There is no starched tablecloth and the overall atmosphere is very modern Spanish restaurant-like. The dress code is smart casual with perhaps a bit more formality in the evenings. The staff were friendly and helpful.
BBR by Alain Ducasse at Raffles Hotel Singapore is a casual Mediterranean restaurant, encouraging you to be in your sports attire.
