All in all, we enjoyed both cakes a lot even though they were a tad too sweet so if you’re here with your friends, get a few slices to share otherwise it can get really sickly after a while.
I did find the prices a bit exorbitant, but a percentage of their sales goes to Muhammadiyah Home Welfare.

The halal cafe, The Malayan Council, offers something different: it integrates Malay ingredients with Western food, giving us a delicious but expensive meal.
After finishing the meal at The Malayan Council Cafe, NAHMJ was extremely delighted ending the meal with such a sweet note. Though comparatively, the main was a little disappointing, nonetheless, NAHMJ will return whole heartedly for their dessert.
