The Peranakan Lengkok Bahru restaurant review with pictures of menu with prices, chicken bueh keluak, chap chye, ngoh hiang ...
It won't be anything but a resounding two thumbs up for The Peranakan for the quality of food, service and dining ambience.
All in all, like my previous experiences, the displays are constantly in transition, so, nobody gets bored, and with constantly new dishes & ideas rotating on & off the menu, diners & patrons have much more to experience with passing times.
Might be a little overwhelming, but the creations were perfections in small portions; satisfying but not cloying.
I honestly have not come across another venue; offering Durians fine-dining style. And for the price stated, I believe durian lovers should find any reason/ excuse to indulge at The Peranakan.
All in all, I was fascinated with the holistic concept.
For Mother's Day, Chef Raymond has lovingly put up a menu that consists of favourite dishes in a 9-course menu suitable for 4 pax. We took a sneak peak of what's in this menu. So let's eat!
Overall, it was indeed an exciting experience to try delicious Peranakan dishes that hardly see in any Peranakan Restaurant. Definitely worth a visit, especially to celebrate this special occasion such as Mother's Day.
If you would like to bring your mothers out for an exotic feast on Mother's Day weekend, wait no further. She will enjoy the lavish settings and these thoughtfully prepared dishes.
Peranakan culture is as well-loved as its food, but it is certainly getting harder to find traditional Peranakan food these days. We were in luck recently and stumbled upon a gem of a Peranakan restaurant. Only authentic peranakan food makes it to the table!
