The line tonight wasn't too bad though, so I hopped over to try that akauo hiraki above, and was happy with its savory skin and tasty bits of fat along the belly. It was surprisingly moist too.

It is a popular place and gets very crowded on weekends and even sometimes at meal times on weekdays. The best time to visit Nakajima Suisan is on a weekday during off-peak hours.
I’ll definitely be back for their fish, especially the mero. Shiok!
