The soup was thick and greasy with savoury prawn and pork flavours, and quite a bit of nice sedimentation. The prawn was fresh and fairly big and bouncy, and the pork ribs tender. Nice and robust.
Amoy Street Boon Kee Prawn Noodle has recently relocated to Mei Ling Market and Food Centre in Queenstown. This humble stall has gained a loyal following for its mouthwatering prawn noodles.
This prawn noodle guy closes pretty early, but fortunately I was able to grab his last bowl today (7 Keppel Road at the HLY Eating House in the northeast corner).
Fortunately, I was able to get plenty of that finely ground chili powder to cover it up.
