I also ordered their seafood pasta aglio olio (RM28.00)…and yes, this was very good, very generous with the herbs used and that gave it a really nice fragrance and flavour. They use their own-made pasta here – I always see them sharing the photographs on their Facebook page and it looked like there were two types in what we had – yellow and green…
We ordered the Ceasar salad (RM18.00)…to share and the moment it was served, my girl remarked that the egg would surely get my nod of approval. Indeed, I was delighted to see the soft, runny yolk. Perfegg!!!
My girl wanted their pizza mascarpone but they were out of the vegetable for the topping, the aragula so in the end we settled for their Pizza Prosciutto e Funghi (RM32.00)…that we had here before and yes, the one here was all right as well.
My missus had the Yakitori chicken chop (RM24.00)…and it was very good plus instead of the fries, she got the potato salad and the salad with the sesame dressing that I did enjoy very much on our previous visits.
I had the focaccia sandwich here…the other day and it was quite big, bigger than the size of a slice from a regular loaf of sandwich bread
The mum had the Thai-style chicken chop rice (RM18.00)…with one fried egg…on top and it sure looked like the meat was served on a bed of greens. She loved it very much but I thought it tasted more or less like the Thai-style mango chicken here, very nice but nothing exclusive or exceptional actually.
She ordered their seafood hor fun (RM16.00)…which turned out to be wat tan hor actually and they were quite generous with those big prawns and sotong (squid) and yes, she thought it was pretty nice. She particularly loved the fact that they used hor fun for the dish – yes, they had the somewhat thinner and translucent hor fun and they were using that, not our thick and white local kway teow.
I had their Big Breakfast (RM22.00)…which came with a complimentary drink from a choice of four, and I chose the black coffee…which was very fragrant and nice…and sugar-free. I enjoyed everything on the platter…except the sausage which I thought tasted like it had a bit too much ginger in it. I used to enjoy their sausages before at the old place those few times when we went there.
