Overall, some of the starters tasted fine especially the satay if you do not mind the price. The service was acceptable but a little slow. The desserts were mediocre but as we did not order any seafood which is their speciality, I would not mind coming back to try eating a full meal as I remember the last time I ate at their Commonwealth shop, the food was nice. Therefore, I will not conclude my review
A food blog from a Singapore-based traveler
Food at New Ubin Seafood is an eclectic mix of Singaporean and International cuisine, including Chinese, Indian, American, and Japanese.
A reassuring no for me. Food is expensive and quality is nothing to shout about.
They want to assure diners that all food is definitely prepared a la minute and that there are other technical and external factors that unfortunately led to the food tasting ‘reheated’.
Overall, lunch at the New Ubin Seafood Chijmes restaurant was more costly than eating similar dishes at a typical zhi char restaurant in Singapore.
