A food blog from a Singapore-based traveler
Though chewy, my conclusion was that it was not warm enough and it lacks the kind of peanuty fragrance that what I have called it as "Muah Chee".
The muah chee was bouncy, soft and unsticky. The sesame dust was something quite different and fragrant. The muah chee was quite delicate and refined, and was superb paired with the fine and powdery sesame and peanut dust. This stall has quite a nice backstory, of a food court owner offering a stall to a heritage hawker that he liked at a good rate.
It’s honestly the best, if not one of the best fried fishes I’ve had.
I do not think I liked it enough to come back again soon.
I like Beef Up. The portions here are large and their beef noodles are definitely worth the trip.
