Made with finesse, we enjoyed the Yam Paste with Single Yolk (RM36), Assorted Nuts & Sun-dried fruits (RM37), Ping Pei Lotus Paste with Ginseng and Single Yolk (RM36) and the Ping Pei Durian (RM43). My personal favorite was the baked yam paste mooncake with its smooth filling, perfectly complemented by the salted egg yolk. The mooncakes are available until 24 September 2018

This year's mooncake collection consists of 12 flavours, three of which are new and unique in their own way. Brunch on Saturdays has never been better, not since I found out that now you can indulge in quality dim sum in a posh restaurant in an even posher hotel. Oh, it’s also available for Friday lunch and the place is … the Shang Palace at the Shangri-la Hotel in Kuala Lumpur!
