Sekali fikir-fikir kita singgah ke Warung Cikgu Bukit Puchong. Kiranya dulu kalau ke Bukit Puchong singgah Restoran Tuan Paridah sahaja. Tapi lauk dia cepat sangat habis. Jadi Warung Cikgu lebih mudah kerana lauknya hanya ayam goreng bersama sambal dan kuah sahaja, nasi mmanggey kata orang....

That said, the version you get here is steaming, fluffy hot rice like how a great Nasi Kukus should be, a douse of their rich curry sauce that makes the rice good enough to be eaten on its own, small bites of fried chicken that has allowed the flavours and spices to seep into the meat making it the perfect pair for the rice and FINALLY, the sambal which is a sweet, spicy concoction which just elevates everything. One of the most satisfying lunch I have had, hands down. Mind blowing when you think about it, that one dish with only rice and chicken can tickle your taste buds in so many ways.

This place is widely known for its signature Nasi Mmanggey hence it gets really crowded during peak hours as many come to get fed.

Another must try here is their Coconut Shake. This is one that would put the famous one in Malacca to shame. Extremely good, served with ice cream and just perfect to counter the spiciness from their Nasi Mmanggey. This deserves a 10/10 as well. Highly Recommended!

Yesterday we attended a free property and feng shui talk which was held in Puchong. The talk ended at 3pm and most of the places were already closed for lunch. After some Google search we found a highly rated place called Warung Cikgu at Bukit Puchong which was only 5 minutes away. We dropped by to check it out and man I tell you, it was one of the most satisfying lunches I have had recently.

Harga untuk nasi mmanggey sebungkus hanya RM4.50 dan sangat berbaloi kerana ia memang mengenyangkan.Salah satu keistimewaan Warung Cikgu ialah menu air kelapa baldinya serta coconut shake yang teramat sedap. Sebaldi kecil air kelapa baldi ni boleh diminum untuk dua orang. Kita boleh memilih untuk menambah air gula dan ais batu atau minum air kelapa sahaja. Sedap sangat. Air kelapa baldi berharga RM 3.50 manakala coconut shake RM 3.
