Don't come here if you need ambiance; but if affordable price, reasonable taste, and free parking (usually available all-day-long) are what's in your mind, then USJ8's Good Year Court 4's Kopitiams (天添發飲食中心 Restaurant Ten Tien Fatt and 好年美食中心 Restoran GoodYear) offers reasonably good hawker food choices.
This stall "Signature Home Cooked Curry stall" in USJ8's "天添發飲食中心 Restaurant Ten Tien Fatt" offers 6-8 choices of rice and noodles with 燒肉 roasted pork, 牛肉/羊肉/炸雞 咖哩飯 beef/mutton/fried chicken curry rice, plus an interesting 魷魚咖哩麵 squid curry mee as well as daily special soups from rm$7 - rm$12.
The stall offers not only classic 台灣滷肉飯 Taiwanese braised pork rice and also 台式鹽酥雞飯/麵 Taiwanese salted chicken rice, but also 台灣小吃 Taiwanese snacks like 炸地瓜 Crispy sweet Potato, 台灣芋圓冰 Taiwan Taro Desserts series, and 古早味蛋糕 Taiwan old-style Baked Cake.
Just like many Chinese kopitiam, don't expect ambiance; just your typical hawker foods (above average taste for the sampled hawker foods stalls so far) at an affordable price.
The rm$6.50 pork noodle today was more than satisfactory; ordered the 干捞 dry version with 老鼠粉 rat noodle topped with dark sauce and super crunchy 豬油渣 pork lard (just a tad oily).
Surprisingly and unexpected find of a good Wanton Mee stall, the noodle wasn't too bad, even the soup wanton was ok, best was the charsiew and the crunching pork lard along with some chopped onions and fresh vegetables on the side, nice!
The Pan Mee was nice, just wished everything weren't too salty; the sauce, minced pork meat, and fried anchovies.
