HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! We advise you to pre-order as these are baked daily on confirmed orders, with some allocation for customers who walk into their Klang store.
The verdict – it was so mind-blowingly good!
To be honest, we don’t mind visiting Fruity Cake House Klang Famous to buy their Apple Strudel again. It is worth the trip.
Did we enjoy the roti canai? Yes – but it has to be garing, as is it to our preference. The other dishes were decent as well but the roti canai is the reason to visit Restoran IV.
It is always that the simplest food is the hardest to make. Indeed their Roti Canai is cripy on the outside as my liking, yet soft inside. A great breakfast comfort food.
They have prepacked nasi lemak on each table. Or if you frequent this place as often as my parents, ask the waiter to prepare a fresh plate instead. The aromatic rice tinged with coconut milk is delicious and when added with that hot sambal and salty ikan bilis, this is something worth breaking your diet for.
One of the places was this restaurant known as yao yao ping, which is directly translated to shake shake ice. I was pre-informed by the friend that it's an ice dessert that he visited since he was a child. I must admit that this friend is only about 20 over years and not exactly middle-aged like me.
Klang Best Fried Chicken and Yao Yao Ping !!
Yao Yao Ping is a kind of slush drink but created with local flavors in mind. Think bubur cha-cha, red bean, sweet corn, calamansi, watermelon flavors and etc. We must have been late as there weren’t much of them left.
I also kinda like their coffee bean here which was brew and hand-pulled served with an aromatic aroma which accomplished my day. Highly recommended to try!!
Food was absolutely fantastic!! Definitely returning and recommending to everyone!
A coffee shop that is hidden right behind a row of eater in Pandamaran has this little disguise of misinterpretation with rundown banner like Stall for rent and hiring. With the huge cover up, it do give you the impression that this place is not a coffee shop till you come close . I was recently introduce to Choon Guan Coffee Shop 偆園茶餐室室1956 that is a hidden gem in Pandamaran that serve awesome Hainanese breakfast.
The soup was still nice though, although the refill was just as pathetically little. And I am leaving aside the layer of pork fat. I only love pork fats when they are deep fried.
The war between Malaysia style bak kut and Singapore style bak kut teh has continued for a long period of time, and the epitome of Malaysia style bak kut teh was said to be at Klang, which I happened to visit in my recent trip to the nearby Petaling Jaya!
Verdict: The food did not suit my taste bud, perhaps I’m more accustomed to the light flavoured Bak Kut Teh like this one. The dry Bak Kut Teh didn’t live up to our expectation too and it would be hard to be convinced for a revisit.
Their boss highly recommends to try out their signature dishes which is the grilled crab, spicy Kam Heong crab, steamed Lala, sambal prawn, deep-fried yam with prawn, and stir-fried golden glass noodle.
除了海南鸡扒之外,据说这里的海南面 (Hailam Mee) 也很不错,还有其他菜肴和小吃等等,薏米水也是推荐饮料。
We have fond memories of this place. When we first came here 8-10 years ago – our friend had a flat tyre after going through a pothole! But it was so worth it as we had the juiciest and freshest crabs of our lives!
I like Ah Her's bak kut teh mainly for their pork.
If you never tried hong bak, can consider visiting Restoran 158 Hong Bak Pandamaran Klang. Remember, don’t order their bakuteh but their hong bak to avoid disappointment. Thanks for reading and have a great weekend!
Prices were not cheap and he does mention that before hand so as to avoid any arguments later on. He had so many orders so much so, we had to wait almost 2 hours before the Grilled Fish was served. Was it worth the wait? Oh yes, it was. The fish was heavenly and the dip sauce was so spicy and went very well with the fish. My rating for this Ikan Bakar would be 8/10. Liang Li Ikan Bakar truly lives up to it's reputation and is worth a drive to Pandamaran. Best to be there before 6 pm as you get to enjoy more seafood variety then.
Though it's written as Ikan Bakar on the stall, this stall only does Oyster Eggs. As suggested, we decided to give this a try. Definitely quite pricey. The small portion was priced at RM 15.00 . Taste wise, it was nice. The eggs were nicely done and the oysters were not too overpowering. My rating for this shall be 8/10.
Among the three types of fish we had, the cencaru (no pic) was the most delicious despite being the cheapest option. The natural flavor and sweetness of the flesh really shines compared to the rest especially stingray. If you are here, I would recommend ordering the cencaru/selar first, then only try the rest.
This restaurant is fronting the main arterial road in Teluk Gong and expect trucks and noise. But once inside their restaurant its bliss.
It is indeed very satisfying, as I love the taste of the soup. Punch with flavour as they are thicker in taste, not only that which is also slightly more on the herbs taste. You can taste the tong guai abit more prominet that gives you the sourish bitter end.
Overall, we were really pleased with our meal here. We will be happy to make a trip here again for the seafood porridge and steamed clams.
Head down to 表哥茶餐厅 Biew Gor Cha Chaan Teng today with friends and families to enjoy a delicious and delightful moment together OH~~ Ho Chiak!
小明冰室 Xiao Ming Kopitiam has an iconic hong kong cafés design looks, lovely mosaic tiles which makes it looks very vintage and perfect for the next best spot for your Instagram worthy shot.
