By a Masterchef contestant. The seafood was fresh and sweet but a bit too firm, possibly over cooked. I enjoyed the soup though, a very full and thick soup, with layers of flavours from the seafood, pork, tomatoes and what seemed like salted vegetables, such that it tasted umami and piquant at the same time.
Here's a local fish soup shop run by a former MasterChef finalist (16 Raffles Quay #B1-26). The name comes from the fact that they offer a smaller takeaway portion in a gimmicky paper cup.
MasterChef Singapore finalist Sharon Gonzago opens a fish soup kiosk in Raffles Place! Check out their collagen-rich broth with no MSG added!
Overall, it’s a nice place for lunch or dinner if you work in the vicinity.
The udon noodles were soft with a pleasant bite, didn’t feel too heavy for a lunch-time meal, complemented with clear, reasonably flavourful soup.
I’ll be coming back for a return visit. It’s a bit expensive, but everything in Lau Pa Sat Market tends to be a little pricier than usual anyway.
I would highly recommend their braised chicken feet and spare ribs.
If you are a fan of Hor Fun, this is the ONE place that you need to visit.
When Paris Baguette first came to Singapore, I visited a few times but concluded that the food was too expensive to visit often. However recently, I discovered they have expanded the variety of ite…
I always enjoy a good sweet treat in locally-inspired flavours and will be looking forward to what else Creme and Cone has up its sleeves!
There may be misses in the Chopsticks By The Asian Kitchen New Menu but generally slanted towards the favourable end. No wonder it attracts huge crowd especially during lunch.
If you are at Lau Pa Sat and wondering which satay stall to purchase from, go for Stall 6, Satay Power and order the mutton and babat!

Overall, this is the first time I came to BOF and I totally enjoyed the food here. Instead of the overpowering spicy Sichuan cuisine, most of the dishes have been well thought out, multi-layered yet balanced, delicious and well-executed.
Popular Sichuan-Western restaurant Birds Of A Feather located at Amoy Street spots a new menu, after a year long exploration and research by Executive Chef Eugene See.

The service at Lime Restaurant was delightful.
Dishes are generally still good, though prices have also gone up as with most establishments in Singapore.
The highlight was the Nasi Lemak so we ordered the signatures and side dishes to try for 5 of us.
Oh well… food and services are good and we will surely be back next time.
If you haven't been here, I hope the executive set lunch is reason enough for you to come by!
The duck confit was ok, and the seafood bouillabaisse was awesome, rich and flavourful with a mountain of seafood.
Overall, there are more misses than hits at LeVeL33 Craft-Brewery Restaurant & Lounge. It may not be worthwhile even with a scenic view.
