Verdict Expect to wait in queues or share tables with random uncle and aunty if you’re coming here during peak hours. The coffee shop is small and cramped and customers kept pouring in out of nowhere. Also, the dish arrival time might be even longer than waiting to get a seat. We suggest coming as early as possible if you’re not patience and to avoid uncomfortable experience.

Of course, if you are not so keen about the cheese, you can gladly leave them to those like us who enjoys cheese just like their second staple, hehe.

Tong Sui Special Green Beans, 4.50 ringgit. Yessss! It was as good. Considering how difficult it is to find an eatery that serves delicious green bean soup – too much santan? too watery? too sweet? too little green beans? This one here was perfect. MARY HAD A LITTLE LAMB (MY 65.90) Masala lamb cutlet served with a side of garlic bread sticks and tzatziki sauce. My order of dory fish in onion garlic batter, served with a side of baked beans. Fish was fried to crispy perfection and did not feel greasy at all; was moist and juicy on the inside. Same went for the thick cut chips. Beans were good, curry sauce was on point. I first chanced upon this café when I saw it on the list of vulcanpost's "6 Weird Names of Actual Cafes in the Klang Valley". I'm not sure if the name was selected on purpose (with a cheeky double meaning *wink wink*) but I read (in the Star papers) that the owners explained that someone suggested "morning" and the café has a wooden interior...and that's how the name came to be. In fact, the cheeky names extend to their menu too (as you'll see later).

If you feel like having breakfast from a faraway land – like Tunisia, for example – you can. Their breakfast menu is inspired by dishes around the world so you can go Norwegian, American, Tunisian, European, Mediterranean or Atlantic. Most of the breakfast items are variations of eggs, bread and vegetables. Still in their trial and testing stages, some of the items on the menu will be removed, but not the Nero di Seppia, a pasta dish with squid ink sauce and sautéd squid with sliced garlic and tomato. Portions are also fit for sharing.

The Penang Asam Laksa RM10.50 is one of our favourite food that we refuse to miss whenever we got the chance to order for a meal. Nyonya Cendol’s Asam Laksa won our heart mainly due to its huge chunks of sardines fishes scattered evenly around the bowl with fine shredded garnishes/spices, quite sour (too many pineapples) compared to normal version but still “Banyak Sedap”! 😉

What makes the Nyonya cendol here so good is that they insist on using fresh ingredients that are prepared daily. But what really sets this cendol a class apart is their santan, it’s extra thick and creamy with the most wonderful aroma.
