Love this place: great service with good dessert and mains and coffee. Cappuccino is good, Tiramisu is good and Shakshuka is tasty.
Cold Brew Orange (RM 13) is nice, but probably too much orange (sourish). The star is the Cheese Terrine Cake (RM 13), soft and milky, and feels very much like Japanese cheesecake.
The French Toast caught our attention as we skimmed through the menu. It was too inviting not to order! The homemade fat white bread is soooooo good! Prolonging on the so just cause. With heaps of fresh fruits and side of fresh cream. Vibrant, just like how we want our day to be!
My personal favourite is Miso (RM17), which is only available on Sundays. The cake is made with layers of miso caramel cream, miso crème brulee, white chocolate mousse, almond sponge and chocolate sable Breton. The miso lends the dessert a slight saltiness, so the sweetness is not overpowering.
The desserts here in Tanuki by Crustz are pretty decent and super Instagrammable. Even though the price for each dessert is relatively high but the quality of the dessert indeed assured! Even my hubby, who is not a very huge fan of dessert, has surprisingly approved!
室內的桌椅有限,週末過來可能要排一下下。建議可以平日過來享受一個幽靜的下午茶唷。
还有好多点心都没吃到,因为太饱了,下次一定会再来.
It is a dim sum store in jalan klang lama. It is crowded in every morning. The wu gok (taro dumpling) is crispy and nice. The fillings is also quite many. It tastes sweet. The fried wantan is also crispy and nice. There are also sweet and sour meatballs which is quite special and delicious. There...
Overall satisfying meal for the morning......food was as expected.....but at least my two monsters and my sister is satisfied with the meal ...can feed them full enough i suppose...lol Total Damage for 2 adults and 2 kids with the above food --RM 37.00
Highly recommended - Signature Meatball Platter (RM32.90) 👍👍💥 Meat Balls are made of lamb, beef, chicken, and pork. Mandarin oranges and green apple slices were served alongside. My senses are definitely tickled. With the signature homemade Chef's special sauce and cabbage braised in red wine, the meatball extravaganza left everyone like it so much! Aromatic herbs and natural spices are expertly mixed into this cuisine.
Been craving for pork dishes lately? There are so many restaurants out there but which do you prefer? If you haven’t got to know about Bacon & Balls, this is the time for you to try them out! Of course, be there earlier or make a reservation in advance because many are flocking their way there!
Our favourite goes to their HamHamSapBelly RM30, also a must-try here. Fork-tender, juicy pork belly with a good proportion of fat and meat, topped over a hearty bowl of rice along with poached egg, edamame, crispy lard and tongarashi.
Lunch for 2 pax at Wonton Pho at Jalan Lazat 2, Happy Garden/OUG Garden. Beef Pho at MYR 15.90 nett and spring roll (Goi Cuon) at MYR 8.50 nett.
I ordered stew beef noodle (soup) at MYR 16.90 nett. The soup has a strong star anise taste which I like. There are many pieces of beef and a lot of noodles so I had difficulty finishing it.
Marinated pork belly with rice at MYR 17.90 nett. It looks like braised pork that I am used to eating but it tastes different as it does not have the star anise taste. But it still is tasty as I like the hard boiled egg in this dish.
The service was friendly and efficient even though Jeju was full house when we were there.
At Jeju BBQ Restaurant,We served Korean Traditional Cuisine along with 15 type of side dishes+SteamEgg,FREE-FLOW KoreanBarleyTea with an Ice-Cream for you
MUN KEE STEAM FISH HEAD @ HAPPY GARDEN Posted on October 5, 2016 TWEET SHARE 6 +1 I was trying to hunt a stall of Wan Tan Mee around the area which was recommended by my friend. Then could not locate the stall and we randomly pick Mun Kee Steam Fish Head since it was the nearest to where I park my car. There were not much people during weekday lunch, but certainly impress with their huge steam machine. We were recommended by the auntie that their best seller are this few dishes. this is new to me as for the first time I am having Clay Pot KangKung @ RM 14. Turns out to be good as it is very aromatic with their little specials sauce which is salty and also nice aroma from mini anchovies. Sizzling at the base at the pot do make the vegetable filled with pot flavour. Their homemade special tofu is also a good one where the sauce is little starchy and fragrant. Great to pair with rice. @ RM 16 Black Bean Steamed Fish Head @ RM 28 Fish head is pretty huge for the three of us, however I got one incinerator with me that can finish half of the fish herself. Fish head is fresh, pungent with black bean flavour and soy base do pairs well. Ginger taste is not overpowering where you can taste all 3 flavour with freshness of fish. Food Rating 7.5/10, a nice fish head place~ -Stamped-
Overall, I found the dimsum at Ying Jia pretty good and value for money. The owners themselves are out and about serving customers, and service is fast and friendly.
My family and I were totally delighted that even with the Movement Control Order (MCO) in place, we are still able to enjoy our favourite Western pasta dishes and those heavenly chocolate cake with my wholesome wholemeal loaf bread. And even better when it gets delivered right to our doorstep, in just a few clicks.
This set comes with the Le Pont Bread Butter Pudding - This rich, decadent custard bread pudding is a classic casserole, made from bread soaked in creamy vanilla custard. The vanilla sauce was just perfect - deliciously creamy, not too thick and fragrant.
Beef lovers will be delighted with Le Pont Slow-Cooked French Roast Beef ~ Juicy beef ribs slowed-cooked to perfection in traditional French sous vide style.
The Edamame Pork Lard Rice (RM 13) is the best simple inexpensive comfort food. Lychee coffee (RM 13) is interesting, and Jelly of the Day (RM 6) is satisfying. The jelly ran out pretty fast, so..
A simple cafe with a simple meal, but some really tasty simple comfort food. Pork lard is the specialty here, and I personally think it goes well with rice. Coffee and cake is nice too, too bad the..
一个隐蔽的咖啡馆;怀旧又Fusion的新潮食物低调中有带点特别
[Pork-free] The last time we past-wa past-wa’ed here was before MCO. While famous for their fuwa fuwa soufflé pancakes, we love the pastas here as well! The Smoked Duck Aglio E Olio (RM22) was excellent – perfectly tossed spaghetti with full-on garlicky flavours and smoky, tender duck bits.
It’s SO FUWA’FY, we could die! We ventured to Neighbour’s Coffee Bar in Happy Garden for their famous fuwa fuwa soufflé pancakes and pastas.
芝士的奶味与榴莲的香气搭配相宜,口感非常好,抿一口会齿颊留香哦~
The Lamb Shoulder comes out to be delicious. No gammy taste at all, and the meat remains moist and juicy as it is. Sides with fresh mint sauce, buttery mash and coleslaw.
Mash & Dog Simple fare but makes a hearty one. Love the springy porky sausage that went through a decent heaty grill to be paired with the yummy mashed potatoes. Oh yeah, that humble mashed somehow managed to steak my attention cheekily with its nicely constructed rustic recipe. Unexpected right? Yeah, me too, hehe.
Surprisingly Pop’s the carb-lover went for the Chicken V 2.0: essentially grilled chicken topped with a creamy butter herb sauce that tasted like thick cheese. Tried some and it was good! Meat was tender, juicy and moist.
This is a pretty unique Chinese neighborhood restaurant, with a slightly upscale price, yet they do come up with some pretty unique dishes. The Dongpo Pork (RM 65) is pretty good, but I feel it..
Better to make reservation or sit outside (come early). I think the food is pretty special and nice.
Finally, the most interesting dish served that night was a stir fried kailan with preserved olives and mustard leaves. Salty, earthy, oily are the flavors and textures that come to mind when eating this dish but the flavor profile is closest to kailan stir fried with mui choi and black beans. It's a pretty addictive flavor as it's rather salty but it's just the right level with rice.
I believe many of you had heard of Top Catch Fisheries, it is very famous of its fresh and affordable sashimi. Not only sashimi, Top Catch Fisheries also sells other fresh and frozen imported seafood!
Top Catch Fisheries is essentially a fishmonger, albeit in a clean, air-conditioned environment. When we arrived at the shop, we saw that they had no more salmon sashimi in the display counter, but the guy at the counter kindly offered to slice a new tray for us. While he sliced the fish, we looked around the shop. They have chilled salmon fillets, as well as lots of frozen seafood items on sale such as scallops, mussels, clam, cod and more. The prices seem pretty reasonable for the frozen items.
相較之下色澤比較偏橙色的三文魚是Atlantic Salmon 大西洋鮭魚 肉質爽口,新鮮程度更是沒話說!
The Portuguese Curry Chicken arrived first at our table. It was kindda like unwrapping a present. As you can see from the first image, the chicken thigh is a rather big piece and it covered/shielded whatever that was underneath. The whole process of removing the chicken and discovering what was underneath was exciting. Basically, what the dish consisted of was a large piece of chicken thigh + corn + broccoli + mashed potato + rice + curry/gravy. The gravy was very nice, thick and buttery with plenty of flavor. It worked well with the rest of the items on the plate. The corn and broccoli were steamed – it was soft, yet crunchy. The rice is soft and rather moist, which was worked wonders here. I usually am not a fan of soft, gooey rice, unless it is sushi but in this situation, with the gravy, steamed vegetables and the chicken – it worked. Certainly a favorite.
March Azalea Kitchen is still very new but I'd say they are already doing pretty good on the food and drinks department.
Overall, March Alzea Kitchen is the place to go to if you love a quiet, comfy ambiance, the cafe serves decent food with friendly service, I like how the staff here is polite and attentive.
Curry Fish Head @ RM 28. For Dai Chow, always good to have one curry gravy dishes. Not too coconut milk flavour, yet it does goes well with white rice. Fish head is also fresh.
这里有着很舒适的用餐環境。我们还会再来品尝它们的白切鸡和其它招牌菜。
A fairly new restaurant in Happy Garden.
My Personal Opinion The two more successful things here were probably the broth and the sambal. The prawn mee, though decent by many's standards (judging by the mostly good reviews on Google and their Facebook page), just didn't endear itself to me on a personal level. I think the failure of the ingredients (of prawns, fried shallots, hard-boiled egg and pork lard crisps) and toppings (of siew yuk and mantis prawn) spoiled my overall experience of this prawn mee and ultimately made it one that I don't think I'd be revisiting. In the end, I'm afraid this prawn mee will not make it to my list of favourite prawn mee to have. I have a lot more other better (traditional) prawn mee options at my disposal...and one that comes with more prawns and cheaper prices too. I can have two big bowls, with big prawns, for the price of one here...and with change to spare! ;P
I heard about this new Prawn Noodle Eatery from Penang in OUG so I went to have a try. Original Prawn Noodle
The Original, 6.90 ringgit. I decided on The Original because I’ve already had a chicken dish, I did not want to add on more meat. It was goood ! Spicy, packed with flavors, soooo good! I was literally sweating halfway through because it was spicy and it does not hit you right on. What it does is that the more spoonful of the soup/gravy you take in, the more spicier it starts getting. It hits you late and by then , your forehead is all sweaty, lol. I enjoyed my experience though. Not many eateries serve prawn mee that still gives me a kick and this one right here does. Yumm! The Original comes with a generous amount of mee hoon and yellow mee + bean sprouts + egg + ham + plenty of spicy, flavorful soup. I loved every bit of it. Certainly worth another try.
Quick service, tasty food. Visit during Chinese New Year.
To be on the safe side, I decided to give the Green Curry a go. This dish was really tasty. The gravy was thick, milky and rich, packed with flavor. Lots of coconut milk, that is for sure. There were a generous portion of chicken, brinjal and green beans. The dish as a whole was a nice dish to have with rice. Sooo good.
