My family and I were totally delighted that even with the Movement Control Order (MCO) in place, we are still able to enjoy our favourite Western pasta dishes and those heavenly chocolate cake with my wholesome wholemeal loaf bread. And even better when it gets delivered right to our doorstep, in just a few clicks.
This set comes with the Le Pont Bread Butter Pudding - This rich, decadent custard bread pudding is a classic casserole, made from bread soaked in creamy vanilla custard. The vanilla sauce was just perfect - deliciously creamy, not too thick and fragrant.
Beef lovers will be delighted with Le Pont Slow-Cooked French Roast Beef ~ Juicy beef ribs slowed-cooked to perfection in traditional French sous vide style.
We had the Seafood Soup Du Tomate RM25, an awesome addition to our dinner. Comforting bowl of seafood loaded soup, pairing pan seared Norwegian Salmon, mussles, clams and prawns with rich, appetizing tomato-base soup.
Verdict: Needless to say, my recommendation of this gathering venue got a stamp of approval from my friends! Good food, warm service and comfortable environment, certainly a place worthy to spend a meal on.
Also from the grill is the Glazed whole king squid (RM40), cooked over the charcoal flames to perfection. Beautifully tender, served with house mayo and pickles.
Let’s start with my favourite… the 48-hour Marinated Mackerel! This perfectly-grilled fish was bursting with flavours, thanks to the marination over 2 days. It’s then slowly and evenly grilled in smoked paprika and served with a spicy citrus sauce and pickles. The flavours and texture of the mackerel were amazing, so good that the dipping sauce wasn’t really necessary. I picked the fish clean.

Le Pont’s Smoke & Grill Platter (RM280), a highly recommended signature that you shouldn’t leave without trying. Dry Aged Smoked Mackerel, Signature BBQ Ribs, Aromatic Smoked Wings, Smoked Beef Brisket, Salmon Jerky, Flat Bread with Garlic & Herbs served with Mackerel Pate, Smoked Cheese and Housemade Sausage – each item is laboriously prepared, beyond your usual barbecue item.
Verdict: If you are fan of smoked or grilled food, you’re bound to love this place. The food scored up to my expectation, not only their signature smoked meat was good, the rustic wood fire oven pizzas was spot on too.
