Recommended by ieatishootipost. The house sauce that came with the Honbo burger was not bad, creamy and slightly piquant and tangy. The burger was well balanced, with soft buns and nice tasty patties. The crispiness and thinness of the patties threw me off though – the juiciness and moistness that I liked in a burger was really missing. Perhaps I need to get one of those burgers with thick beef.
The prices are on the higher side if you were making it a meal with burgers, sides and drinks as compared to places like Shake Shack or Five Guys. No doubt that it tasted good, they are on the greasier side and overall, I will say its not worth the time spent on queuing.
I don't usually associate Hong Kong with burgers, but nonetheless this shop from up north is down here now (30 Victoria Street #01-09), and it's pretty good.
For a delightful surprise, indulge in their Goma Cake, boasting an intensely flavorful roasted sesame profile that is both aromatic and mouthwatering. Consider starting with this tantalizing treat before diving into the Matcha option.

After my first visit to Hvala at Keong Siak Street, I was pretty interested to try other drinks they have on the menu and when I was around the area, I decided to pop by the CHIJMES outlet. Since t…
Overall, the price of the dishes at Lumbre is really high and some of their dishes are not worth paying the hefty tag.
Lumbre Spanish Restaurant offers an interesting selection of grilled dishes, small sharing plates, tempting desserts & boutique Spanish wines.

Hototogisu's CHIJMES outlet is running this coconut ramen right now.
Here's the paitan version of Hototogisu's oyster ramen at Great World (yes, I'm still doing post-circuitbreaker ramen). I've had this several times before, and in fact seem to keep forgetting that I liked the shio version better. I cleared this bowl quickly, but next time, I'll get the shio.
It was a pleasant experience in Tatsu for Teppanyaki and I do not mind splurging some money for occasions to enjoy a good meal like this.
Food at Analogue Initiative is completely plant-based and meat-free, an experiment to replace over-farmed ingredients with more sustainable, 'analogous' ingredients (hence the bar's name). Chef Dylan Choong pushes boundaries with well-crafted, delicious, yet fun and substantial plates, making each a pleasant surprise. Portions are sized for sharing and communal dining. Prices have a premium for uniqueness and creativity, budget about SGD $55 per person.
Fishball Story 鱼缘, which earned a Bib Gourmand award in Singapore Michelin Guide, has opened a new quick service eatery at Bugis Junction.
If I heard them correctly today, this is not a chain from China, despite its appearance. But it is run by the Xiaolongkan team (200 Victoria Street #03-30D), and the food was pretty good, like that "farmhouse bacon platter" above, one type of which was spicy while the other one was fatty.
Shinfuni 幸芙妮 is an artisanal bakery for refined modern Taiwanese pastries and bakes. The new bakery has set up shop in Singapore at Bugis Junction.
Overall, it tasted good. I wonder how will be the taste of the soup version. Perhaps if there are chances again, I will want to try that.
Overall, the new dishes provided beef alternative for the diners. Initially, only Black Sesame Sauce Noodles were available. Now, diners can choose from more options like Braised Pork Belly Pearl Rice Bowl, Braised Pork Belly Noodles, and Yakiniku Pork Noodles. Cheers!!
I personally find this a good change for Hanazen as compared to the menu when it just opened early this year. The prices are also slightly more accessible as compared to its opening menu, and if you love seafood and meats, this should be an omakase menu you will enjoy.
While Hanazen received mixed reviews during its initial openings, this new menu introduces a refreshing and delightful difference that is worth exploring. If Omakase is not your cup of tea, a la carte menu is available too. Overall dining experience was great.

A food blog from a Singapore-based traveler
Dew by Whitegrass is like a modern Japanese sake bar with a focus on its sake varieties. The food is decent for a relatively casual meal in Chijmes to go along with some sake. Just don’t come expecting a Michelin standard meal.
If you’re a seafood aficionado, the Seafood Buffet Dinner Menu at Beach Road Kitchen is a true treasure trove for seafood lovers.
Overall, the buffet was good and I visited when the restaurant was doing a promotion for lunch so based on the price and offerings, it was quite worth the money.
If you are a seafood lover, you got to try Beach Road Kitchen as they have launched a seafood buffet showcasing a variety of premium seafood.
Chef Bjorn and the Artichoke Singapore crew are serving up incredible Middle-Eastern fusion food and stunning cocktails, moves to River Valley
We noticed some good looking hummus and eggplant sitting in the countertop's glass case at Artichoke, so we grabbed a plate of each, along with other tasty treats like their white beans and fennel as well as a smoked falafel salad.
Bring your friends and family, and enjoy a charming taste of authentic Singaporean flavours here at Ginger!
Ginger at PARKROYAL on Beach Road definitely has no shortage of excellent dishes infused with authentic Singaporean flavours.
We absolutely loved the Roast Angus Beef with Truffle Puree.

Famous Treasure at Capitol Piazza is the atas version of outlet.
The prices may be very steep and you might cry after seeing the bill, but I promise you, it is a treat you should give yourself at least once in your lifetime.
Do not leave Edge without trying their amazing Nama Chocolates!
Most of the dishes were executed well and there are plenty of classic dishes that impressed us.
