In a single trip, Supernova has turned me into an absolute fan and the same can be said for most people considering the crowd there, even on a weekday afternoon. There is one more dish I have not had the chance to try, the Fried Chicken with French Toast. It was sold out on my second visit, and this dish is at the top of my list. I also wouldn’t mind to check out its dinner menu one day.

The Claypot Chicken Rice was chicken rice in a claypot rather than claypot rice. Every component was really good – the rice was grainy and fragrant and had a nice crisp where it touched the claypot. The chicken was tender and qq, and paired with nice minced ginger. The chilli was spicy, fragrant, sweet and piquant at the same time. And the chicken consommé tasted of nice earthy herbal chicken soup. Very nice.

Meet Little Rogue Coffee, a new cafe along Tanjong Katong Road. With a floor space big enough for a playpen in the middle of the cafe for the young ones (closed for now due to the ongoing pandemic), a rack for those with bicycles, and plenty of seats available, you won’t have to worry too much about waiting ages for a table, at least not on weekdays.
