For those looking to chill, and unwind, head over to this homey no-frills cafe for a cup of joe, or one of their handmade bakes.
The bakes here are pretty good, and my only regret is that I didn’t have more of them! I’d definitely choose them over the hot food options for future visits. The decor and homely vibe is lovely and inviting as well, and despite the fact that all tables were occupied, the cafe never felt too noisy.
Food at Baker's Bench Bakery is all about European style breads and pastries, with influences from British, German, French, and Polish cuisines.
The portions weren't big, but it transported well, and was a great deal either way, which means that we'll order from them again.
In most aspects, Beurre is an ideal dining spot for a fine-casual meal, date nights or small group gatherings. The dishes are unique in its own ways, and prices are relatively affordable for the Bukit Pasoh/Keong Saik enclave.
Overall, definitely a place to return to, affordable quality food with lovely service.
Highly recommended food and excellent service - do make your way down once the outdoor dining ban has been lifted.
Every dish is well-crafted and created to fulfil the omakase experience.
Overall, we loved our dining experience at Mai By Dashi Master Marusaya, and will definitely return again.
I had a pleasant dining experience at Humpback where the dishes I had are generally light and refreshing in flavours. I like the slight Japanese touches to the dishes, and this is a great dining space ideal for an intimate group size. Good wine and seafood-centric dishes, so why not?
A food blog from a Singapore-based traveler
I won't order the charred cabbage again though; it tasted fine, but was a ripoff at S$17 (US$13) for two skimpy one inch slices.
It is definitely amongst the top, that’s for sure. And perhaps, even better than the various other best restaurants Restaurant Andre shared accolades with. And despite the price, I am sure to say, I will return again; without a doubt.
The food intrigued and tantalised the palate. The service was excellent. We finished dinner in a great frame of mind.
22 reviews of Restaurant ANDRE "Been meaning to write a review about Andre now for one hell of a long while. This is probably the easiest 3 Michelin Star to give in Singapore. Everything about it is...perfect! From the setting, to the food, to…
Clos Pasoh Review of Set Lunch Menu $42-49 with pictures of wine menu with prices, restaurant and food ...
Clos Pasoh what an experience!! Clos Pasoh is a sophisticated take on the French brasserie, situated amid the Bukit Pasoh restaurant enclave
The quality of the food is no longer important here, leaving a sour taste for me and my fellow diners.
A must have is Chef Damian's Kueh Kasui. It is the best steamed tapioca kueh with gula melaka I ever eaten.
My absolute favourite from the new menu is the Pork Knuckle Debal (S$68), a dish inspired from leftover meats from Christmas feasts by Damian’s granddad.
Perfect place to rediscover some long forgotten flavours of Straits cuisine.
One of the best places to experience our truly uniquely Singaporean cuisine! The food is authentic and made without compromise!
This is probably one of the most ideal restaurant in Singapore to have a taste of heritage cuisine.
Restaurant Zén has launched a new 7-course Luncheon Experience which promises to redefine midday indulgence with a menu priced at $395++.
Half the reason to go to Chikin is for their Chicken. Come with an open-mind and you'll be blessed with a showing of weird odds and ends.
Overall, this is a great place to hang out be it after work or not. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from the great skewers, friendly staff, right down to the sexy interior.
There are probably more interesting places for serious eating at the Keong Saik area, but Rebel Rebel could be the perfect place to meet up for pre-dinner drinks. Before strolling to the nearby restaurant afterwards.
Will I Return Again? Before my experience at Gaggan, I used to think that his style hovers the fine line of fun and gimmicky. I am surprised I enjoyed myself at what is dubbed Gaggan’s Greatest Hits, where the dishes are punchy and there is a strong finesse to the overall execution.
It's a wine place - with food, better food than the run of the mill wine places.
Overall, we had an enjoyable lunch at The Wine & Gourmet Friends.
Poisson Restaurant Singapore review with pictures of menu and wine list, restaurant interior, grilled lobster, squid, crab pasta, wine ...
Despite the place being almost fully occupied, I was impressed that the patrons here are more refined and they don’t converse in a disturbingly loud manner. Just like Taiwan.
This is my second time at The Reading Room and I still like the atmosphere. Looking for a nice place to read a book? The Reading Room might be right up your alley!
All the dishes we tried boasted refined flavours, leaving us walking out the door feeling contented.
There is a wide selection of food, and this is a good spot if you are looking for a café to chill, enjoy a good coffee and engage in deep conversations about life.
On the whole, the food here is simple and clean, designed for the modern lifestyle of hipsters; it’s pleasant but there is little culinary skill required and I prefer cafes that cook their food a la minute.

Every item was good, with the only exception being the noodles having a slight kee or alkaline flavour, although this was made up for by the outstanding sauce made of dried shrimps and kelp.
