Engi Mont Blanc (MYR 21) Japanese chestnut-centric dessert with layers of chestnut cream, vanilla cream, cassis and the whole chestnut itself. Usually I’m not a big fan of creamy stuff. In fact, I’ve tried similar French gateau from other brands but it’s tad cloying to me. However, surprisingly found it rather pleasant one over here. Ingredients seems to be well-proportioned hence rendering an overall refreshing palate without being overly sweet nor creamy, Yumz!
Croissant (Rm 5) Flaky, buttery and really huge croissant. My all-time breakfast fix when the house runs out of breakfast. Though the croissant here is not the most buttery one I have tried before, but it is a perfect croissant to start the day.
Ooooo yum. The taste of pistachio was evident. I did not think I’d like a creamy, gooey filling with pistachio flavoring but this taste good. Accompanying it with soft, fluffy, buttery croissant was lovely.
Over here, you can choose from four types of noodles, namely lai fun, kuey teow, mee hoon or mee and whether you would like it in soup or dry. Then, proceed to choose which types of meat you would like with your noodles. I love the soup version with lai fun, which is flavorful, robust and appetizing, thanks to the addition of preserved salted vegetable (kiam chai). We would usually go for Option BA, which comes with beef balls, tripe and tripe. The accompanying chilli dip is pretty kickass too!
For a minimum RM8 per bowl, the price is quite steep. I suppose that's what you get for additional comfort. Otherwise, I wouldn't mind visiting them again if the beef ball craving strikes or if I'm in the area. It's really not bad, not bad at all.
I'll always go for the DRY "GAN LAO" 1! hehe~
The food at Fatt Hei Len Restaurant Taman Tayton View Cheras is still as good as it used to be and the food prices here are very reasonable. We will come back for more!
This will be my first time trying out a unique dish which is also the Signature “Pao Heong Rice” @ RM 186. Cooking in a fragrant broth, pack with flavour from big head prawn, sweetnes from bone and also the rice is like pre fried then added in that makes it unique of its kind. Certainly a dish that is worth to order if you have yet to try it out. Prawns were fresh and juicy.
Dry Curry Chicken Noodle was damn syok, one of the best Dry Curry Chicken Noodle that I had in a while. Fried Noodle itself has it own taste and when mix it together with the curry chicken, it a combo made in heaven for me.
Loh See Fun with Curry Pork Ribs RM 9.50. First time having loh see fun with curry pork ribs which actually tasted pretty good . The loh see fun here was pretty fatty and long which goes really well witht he curry after pouring all over it as it absorb all the flavor .The curry pork ribs was beyond words can describe totally tender, juicy, and loaded with flavor as the curry paste was so thick and delcious.
Verdict: With no expectation on the food at such pet cafe, the food we had was above average and it was a gratifying dining experience at Poppy Kat. This place certainly a pawsome cat café to be visited when you are in need of some cat therapy!
[Non-halal] Yue Coffee is one of the most charming cafes we’ve been. An old Chinese New Village home that’s converted into a drinking hole with bright open windows and rustic wooden furnishes.
Overall we enjoyed the pan mee at Lim Kee Pan Mee Restaurant Taman Tayton View Cheras. As mentioned, they are heavy on salt but the food there is still enjoyable. Finding parking at times can be challenging. We visited the restaurant before MCO (movement control order).
Penang White Curry Mee, 8 ringgit + Prawn Mee, 8 ringgit. Ooo them noodle were da bomb! I know some of you guys like the gravy a lil watery but not me. I like them thicker, with more flavors and spice. Both the noodles were delicious. The Penang White Curry Mee was milky and spicy. It came in a generoud portion. Notice the pork blood cubes? I got 8-10 of those in one serving and loads of tauhu, mini prawns, fishcakes and taugeh. The Prawn Mee – I liked very much. The broth was reddish, orangey which itself was able to indicate the right amount/level of spiciness and upon tasting it – yup, it was just the right amount with that much needed sweetness that usually accompanies good prawn mee. It came with dried shrimp, taugeh and egg. I loved it.
Wanna Shop in Boutique & while sipping on coffee plus enjoying a delightful meal ?
It is the first cosy & elegant restaurant in Cheras serving fine Western cuisine along with good selection of premium wines.
走時尚簡約風的cincin,底層是時尚的用餐環境;樓上的裝潢則走工業風格,昏暗的燈光,加上高格調擺設,營造出奢華且不失典雅的氛圍。

Food writing is an on-going learning journey. A visit to Anne Elizabeth, a deli-style restaurant owned by husband and wife team, Jacob Fong and Sandra Lee, proved enlightening as I grappled with unfamiliar meat cuts like abanico and picanha.
Next to arrive was the Australian marbled ribeye (RM78), which was perfectly cooked to medium doneness as requested. We chose this as the marbling looked incredible on the meat in its raw state, and it certainly did not disappoint in terms of taste too... super tender and juicy! Served with two types of sauce and mustard.
We had, not one but two pieces of Iberico Abanico (RM39.80 per piece). Each piece is about 250gm. Grilled to 70% doneness, Jacob assured us that this is very safe for consumption since it is Iberico. The texture of the Abanico is amazing, utterly tender, juicy and has a beautiful bouncy bite. Due to the marbling, the flavour component is also deliciously tasty. Served with the three-standard mustard, dark caramelized roasted gravy and pepper cream, this cut of Iberico is further accentuated in terms of flavours. Absolutely worth a try if you have not had this before…
Will I come back again? Most likely for their roast duck drumstick if I can beat the queue and find a parking space. This is the Sun Ming Kee Restaurant and Menu prices 2022. Simple food but it is good!
Well-known chicken rice and duck rice in Taman Connaught , serving one of the most crispy , tender and juicy roasted chicken and duck accommodate with variety of soups and yong tau fu .
In short, instead of eating the-ever-popular roast duck in Sun Ming, we recommended siu yoke and char siew. Service is alright, not as bad as we read from some reviews online. We won’t come back from their roast duck again, but definitely yes for char siew.
The LadyBird Cakes are beautifully presented with the beautiful colours and they are made from the Strawberry, Lime & Apple Compote with Mix Berry Mousse, Praline Sponge & Chocolate Hazelnut Base. Each mouthful of the cakes are sinfully addictive and delicious making it to our favourites for sure.
The Seared Salmon Fillet is perfectly cooked. Love the freshness of the fish itself and they are sides with the tomato seafood rice, zucchini and cherry tomatoes. It is just a perfect comfort dish to go for! Really good and delicious!
My personal favourite will be:Gingerman, Black Forest, Mont Blanc. Enjoy your Christmas dessert.
This is the main star that caught me into the outlet. Hong Kong Polo Bao with New Zealand Butter @ RM 4.80. It is not too bad for a bun. Fresh soft bun, flaky crusty top and with a slice of butter and a glass of coffee its a great combination.
NanYang Pork Burger with Fries at MYR 15.90++ (10% service charge and 6% SST = MYR 18.45 nett). I ordered this burger because I wanted to eat fries and they did not disappoint. The fries were better than those served in fast food chains because they were fleshier. I like the pork burger because of the thin hard dry slice of flavourful pork chop which tastes almost like the pork chop in macau pork burger.
Special pork knuckle in preserved bean sauce with tossed noodle (RM12.90) - using specially selected pork knuckle, they are braised for several hours with fu yue (fermented bean curd) until tender. Loved it - the texture was perfect for me, especially the lovely gelatinous skin. This is a good choice for those who prefer more saucy noodles. Served with a bowl of peppery pork soup.
If you are going for their spicy ma lat steamboat, it is recommended to have them with the Fried Dough Stick , Bean Curd Sheets as well as the Luncheon Meat where it really goes well and addictive too
Verdict: The soup base is the essence of any good steamboat however both of the soup we tried didn’t manage to impress us. It would be hard to be convinced for a revisit anytime soon as I can find better options at my area – Kepong.
这里非常适合一家大小或三五知己来一起吃火锅,有特色,美丽的环境加上新鲜食材,服务也很好,值得推介给大家
The Steamed Ocean Dragon Groupa with Fresh Abalone, “Seng Kwa” & Squid Ball Taishan Style is indeed one of my favorites. The fish comes amazingly delicious with the flaky fish meat and ypped with the bouncy squid balls. The abalone remains its juiciness and moisture. Everything is perfect and above my expectation.
So we started off with some true blue Teochew recipes that is simply wonderful and homey to the tummy, before moving on to the rest of the mains and some signatures from this establishment.
We were there recently to check out the Dim Sum and had a hard time deciding what to order, scanning the Dim Sum Menu for many minutes. The dishes are categorized under Appetizers, Steamed Dim Sum, Cheong Fun Selection, Deep-fried/Pan-fried/Baked items, Porridge, Chef’s Specials, BBQ Selection, Noodles & Rice and Desserts. In between scrutinizing the menu and looking at the pictorial presentation on their huge wall screens, we settled on these delicious plates…
Butter Chicken (S), 15 ringgit + Palak Paneer,14 ringgit. The Butter Chicken and Palak Paneer was equally as delicious. The gravies were awesome, a perfect combination with the naan. They both had generous filling. Both dishes were the ‘Small’ option and I was surprised as to how much filling it came with. If you eat in eateries like Tasty Chapati, they would give you even lesser filling at a higher price. Not here though. Here, it is decently priced. The chicken came in various sizes and pieces – big, small, long, short. You name it and it is there. The Palak Paneer, which basically consisted of spinach gravy with plenty of cheese cubes was tasty. I wouldnt change a thing.
Chapathi Recipes is a famous Indian Cuisine Restaurant in Taman Connaught, KL which served northern Indian delicacy dishes.
The Garlic Cheese Naan at Chapathi Recipes is among one of the best in Kuala Lumpur. Every bite was packed with garlicy and buttery flavours, and the crispy texture made this dish even more desirable.
Penang Dry Kuay Teow, 8.50 ringgit. I most probably would not order this dish again. It basically was a kechupy noodle with slices of steamed chicken and some salad greens. Yup. I think I ordered the wrong dish thinking it was actually fried kuay teow. That was my bad, should have known better but I was in la la land. I saw another table ordering the curry mee – which looked and smelled awesome and they looked like regulars. So, I guess some dishes here are good and some are not.
The core product is Penang Prawn Mee. ALK also giving you a special White Coffee direct from the established Ipoh's Brand Chang Jiang White Coffee.Got to Try OHH !!!
The place is obviously popular judging from the brisk business they were doing. A possible destination for a decent bowl of prawn mee although it won't be my regular haunt since I wasn't too thrilled about the price for the quality and quantity of prawns I got.
Craft cafe is not just about food and coffee but it also offers a variety of arts and crafts lessons.
The favorite spot where many students love to hangout to complete their Assignments .
